- We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?
After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.
This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.
Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

So I added all notes to an anarchist cookbook, but it lacks the recipe for HMTD crystals so that's broken.
Also, I would like to trade napkins for paper towels to make the aforementioned HMTD crystals.

What this server needs is ammonal bombs.

I feel this would be a helpful thing to add: I don't need a mechanical ammonal bomb. I'm more interested in the idea of having it should I need it as a gambling chip or quest-related item later. If it would be simpler to allow me to make one (I actually have the resources to make several if the trades I requested are allowed) and instead give me a "voucher," if you would-- maybe a renamed dirt bag or something of that nature-- to represent a bomb, that's cool too. I'm more interested in the roleplay of it than the mechanical item, obviously.
