≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Title: PLIS SAEVE HORS
Character Name: Kaari

So during the 'save the horse trader' event, there was an injured horse in the Behemoth cave that was ruled to have a leg fracture. Since I couldn't do anything about it at the time, I could only let it be. There is an event coming up to build some sort of structure to block the entrance of the cave, and I was wondering if that horse was still alive and uneaten? I think it might add something to the event if we could venture in and try to rescue said horse. My character has plans to make a cast from plaster to immobilize the leg and to get it out of the cave we could fashion a pulley-and-winch system using the wooden wheels from the horse trader's own wagon. I imagine such a venture might even attract unsavory monster attention?

I left some food and water in the cave for the horse. If, of course, it has not been gobbled. If it has, I understand. Horses are delicious. It's only a suggestion.
