≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Title: Offline robbery/Powergaming
Character Name: Henry Patton
In-Game Coordinate: 3169,16851

Hello! So I just logon and about to play when I noticed my car has been looted. The trunk is open and everything there is gone. There is some notes around explaining the process so I will explain two things about it. 1. My claim note states - in uppercase - the car is locked. 2. In the note that explains how the thieft got into the car, he states the door is simply open.
.
Let that alone, I have been offline for almost two days and I don't remember seeing such notes next to my car last time I got online, but I could be wrong. Still it is a case of powergaming.

My regards, Seryei~

Edit: I should mention the car is parked in front of the north gate under the attentive look of the towers' guards.

After searching through the logs, it was Vitor Lopes, just like the note says. You were online, though. He placed the post-it at ~7:48pm EST on the 14th, and you were on from ~6:26pm EST to ~8:50pm EST. Nevertheless, Vitor claiming that the door was open when your note specifically states that it's locked is against the rules. I'll give him a warning for powergaming.
