≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

    After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

    This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

    Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

As news of a newly brokered peace deal spreads beyond the walls of Monroe, Nikolai is quick to issue a statement of his own in response via general radio frequency:

"For Monroe people, I ask you this: when is war over? Is over when there is no more fighting? Is over when all is dead? No. War is over when blood is paid for. How many people died? How many people was hurt? And now your leader say there is peace.

"I say for this, do not trust who cannot finish to fight. Constantine, Sepp, Zed-- they don't let this happen. But they go away, and things change. Crystal is not for Monroe. Weak. Coward. Bow to the enemy.

"If you are want to have a voice, if you are want to be brave, if you are want to finish to fight-- Blackbear is for you. And you is for Blackbear."
