Hello! I would like to request a pair of skill increases:

Carpentry from 6 to 7: Cause you need carpentry 7 to make cabinets and counters but stairs at 6? Its just dumb.

Electrics from 2 to 3: Cause you need level in to literally plug a wire into a house smh. Dumb

For your first request, it's a solid no. I'm not budging on that. If Recorder had a genuine background in carpentry, I'd say yes. I've given other characters XP due to their backgrounds. However, she doesn't. Not to mention, you were mechanical gaming to grind Carpentry XP. Granting you enough levels to have Recorder build perfect structures—which is incredibly unrealistic—would be like rewarding you for breaking the rules.

Before you go and say 'but everyone does it!,' the difference between you grinding Carpentry XP for Recorder and Gerr having grinded Carpentry XP for Jinichi is that Jinichi's entire background is about him being an incredibly skilled carpenter. He was attempting to boost his skills to match Jinichi's actual abilities. That's not the case for you.

As for Electrical XP, that's fine. It's a far more reasonable request.

Allow me to remind you that Barb - the NPC - knows way more than Recorder and is perfectly able to build cabinets and teach her while Recorder helps her build, and Recorder has been studying prior to the NPCs moving to expand on her building knowledge. Since she moved to Haven's Point, in fact, in order to be able to construct more than trenches and little dirt bunkers - this comes from her time in the Druzhina, the Pirat army, literally why she had carpentry 2 or 3 when she was created.

The alternative solution passes by: A. Going to an admin literally anytime I want barb to build counters - which will be often given the new cabins that will be build will have kitchens and the old one requires a bit of a minimun kitchen area. B. I just go around the map picking up all the counters I see and leaving the map clean, which I would hate for a variety of reasons but hey, it actually makes sense ic that furniture can be lifted and moved into a vehicle for relocation right?
