≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Title: Revive - Jinichi Tateru
Character Name: Jinichi Tateru
In-Game Coordinate: 2591x, 18085y

Jinichi died due to the temperature and not being able to find any clean clothing to keep him warm, outside the garbage bag poncho he was wearing for the rain, and dirty pants, there was nothing to save the poor man from freezing to death. Tried to get admin on for coat and warm clothing but died the moment I spawned in, hence the ticket. I had nothing personally to stop my death due to no available looting locations or time to make it to any vendor or location that may have warm clothing, making my death unavoidable, as well as rendering myself submitting the revive ticket.

Hey Gerr,

Feel free to create a new character. Let me know what your skills were at so I can give them back.

Resolved, however, was unable to retrieve Jinchi's bag off his corpse. Did not remember many of the items so he will let me know if he remembers more of what he had. Also spawned in many Hydrocraft Books to help get Jinichi almost back to where he was prior
