≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

    After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

    This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

    Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Mary entered the old church originally as she neared Monroe township in search of solace, peace, and reprieve. Looking up to a man crucified nearly broke her spirits.

Her resolve steeled in Monroe, with a fresh meal in her belly, clean clothes, and a cleaning of her axe. She set off to the church to take the man down and restore the sanctity of the church she found.

((This is a request to take down the crucified man at the coords so Mary can begin a restoration project as one of her first acts in town.))

That corpse has been there since the beginning of the lore, so over a year and a half in-character. It's gonna be almost entirely decomposed by now. Definitely not a pretty sight. I can remove it for you, though! I'm honestly surprised it hadn't been done sooner.
