Title: Appealing my 'warning'
Character Name: Ali Ferguson
In-Game Coordinate: no
I had reason to believe that metagaming was clearly involved after I was talking about foraging outside Monroe in an OOC chat. I figured Mindgate had put two and two together and deliberately found me.
I don't accept this warning, it's not a fair warning.
I couldn't have cared less whether Ali lived or died at that point, and I don't exactly enjoy being shunned for what is 'supposedly' OOC toxic and bleeding behaviour. I spoke to MindGate as a friend as well as it being a pretty obvious OOC misunderstanding about whether my body was being roleplayed or not or I was just being killed for fun. That was cleared up, the player that I thought was my friend stuck a report against me and I'm like 'uhhhhh I was just asking a few questions'
I genuinely couldn't care less whether my character lived or died, at the end of the day, it's a game and a character I wasn't necessarily interested in playing because I figured there wasn't many carpenters around. After being killed literally six hours after logging in, I've the right to ask the player whether there was some fuckery behind it. Whether that could be proved or not is pretty much impossible, but I tried anyway.
To put a stupidly long story short, I went into MindGate's DM's and asked him whether metagaming was possible during the interaction. This is not a fair warning and discord DM's should not be subject to server policy anyway.
