Personality
Darius has always been a quick tempered, but heart in the right place kind of guy. He doesn't resort to violence but is never afraid to protect himself or those around him. His main goals are to find something good left in this world and make a new life for himself and possibly to help those around him.
Character Motivations
Darius is wrestling with his demons and trying to find any good still left in the world. He strives to believe in it and find it. He yearns to find some good to do and bring some type of meaning to his everyday survival.
Physical Appearance
Darius is a 6'2" brown haired medium build man. The hard few years since the fall can be seen on his face. A few vein like scars can be seen down his arm, he received these after the outbreak first started, running through and keeping to the woods. A scar along his left cheek from the first time he experienced evil in the new world, a group of bandits robbing a couple for what food they had.

Biography
Before the outbreak Darius was just like any other cop, dedicated, outgoing, hardworking, and of course divorced. He was fired after his drinking got out of hand after his divorce and lived a lonely life. Trying to find purpose again out of self pity. The red eye, changed everything, first it was isolated incidents, then home invasions. Slowly but surely he started noticing the signs and decided to head into the mountains. After a few months he headed back down to find a horrific scene. People robbing people, as if the infection wasn't a battle enough in itself. Gangs setting up and claiming out territory.
Darius found his meaning he had been searching for, the times of hiding in the woods and self loathing were over. It was time to do some good. Time to change some things for the better.
