Has this character appeared in a previous lore?

Age

Personality
Always a little bit mischievous, Jacqueline is fond with playful teasing and smug derision of those she meets. Even though this can lead to some more problems for her, what can one truly expect of a young woman. Trying to put herself up above others is just another method of coping through this mess. Inside, she’s scared of looking weak, especially considering her age.
Physical Appearance
Staring off into the distance for a moment, a young girl steps forth into the light. A light, tan complexion stands before the viewer, a young teenager gazing forth into the distance. Her eyes are a deep brown, like dark chocolate swirls, only highlighted by the dark skin hanging beneath her eyes. It seems she hasn’t gotten a lot of sleep. Lithe and fit, she stands at a paltry 5’5” and sits at 121 lbs. After a few moments more, she blinks, slowly sliding her gaze to the viewer. Lifting the lids a bit, a mischievous smirk finds their way onto her lips as she slips her hands into the pockets of a dirty, blue sweatshirt. Her dark, umber hair drapes forth over her shoulders, the scraggly locks curling downwards towards her chest and along her back. With a pursed lip, she takes a few steps back and turns around. One hand thumbs at a belt, keeping a pair of jeans held up, all capped by dark, black boots. She fades off into the distance, the smirk still hanging.

Biography
Jacqueline Garcia Mendoza was born in Juarez, Mexico on May 27th, 2003 to Raul and Raquel. Growing up, Jacqueline was always doted on by her mother and father when they could. With the increase in operations against Mexican cartels during the mid-2000s, and her father a member of the Mexican Army, she found he wasn't always around. However with her mother and brother usually around, the child grew relatively happily.
Though her father was often out, it was her mother that was the family's breadwinner. With enlisted on low pay rolls throughout the decade, it was up Raquel and her programming talent to keep the family stable. Whilst she managed the home and wrote code for an American tech firm, Jacqueline explored and played about the house, often at the care of Rafael. As she grew, she developed a keen love for art and music, her brother helping her listen to old CDs that their parents owned.
In 2009, her mother enrolled her into Leona Vicario Elementary School in the western side of town. It was here where she began to delve into drawing and painting, spending a lot of time practicing her newfound love for art. However, her time at school was cut short quickly. In 2010, the family moved to Mexico City where she was re-enrolled into Primary School Mexico, where she began to learn English alongside Spanish and other subjects.
However, things looked bad for the future of the family. Feeling that her husband was putting life in the army ahead of family, Jacqueline's mother was looking forward to seeing the end of his contract with the Mexican military, hoping to convince him to find a job in the civilian sector. He resisted this, and before long he revealed that he had extended his service to the military, much to Raquel's chagrin. Though she didn't understand why her parents fought, such things scared Jacqueline, who often left the house to visit friends or played with Rafael to put such things out of her mind.
In the end, her mother filed for divorce, with the question of who would take the children becoming a point of contention. After some deliberation, Raul relented, knowing that his work in the army would not give him time to care for his children, and may even put them in danger. With that said, the family split. Even so, the relationship between the two seemed to soften, knowing that they needed to care for their children.
By 2015, Jacqueline had just started middle school when Rafael announced that he would be heading to the US on a scholarship for university. Protesting at first, the girl was forced to come to terms that her brother would be leaving much of her life and that she may not be able to see him again. It was "a great opportunity", she'd been told, yet she couldn't help but feel sad, feel worried that she wouldn't see her brother anymore. "It's a part of growing up" her mom told her. Still, she didn't think it seemed right to her...
Life seemed to progress slower for Jacqueline without her brother around. Despite this, she continued to progress academically, and though she wasn't the best student academically, she worked hard, particularly in her love for artwork. Taking advantage of social media and art sites, she managed to rack up a small follower base over her paintings, drawings, sketches, and more. It was a small thing, but it made her happy, sharing her drawings and such and receiving praise from others.
In 2018, Jacqueline continued her schooling, entering the bachillerato or high school portion of her classes of the Colegio Vista Hermosa private school. Here she began her first IB courses, planning on trying to follow in her brother's path into the United States.
After some months of planning, with her classes in a lull by May of 2019, Jacqueline and her mother arranged for a trip to see her brother. Stationed in a base in Texas, it wasn't the most difficult trip in the world for her to make. Touching down on May 15th, she met up with her brother not long after. Jokingly making fun of the fact he was in the US Army and not the Mexican one, she went along with him through local sites, trying out stereotypical texmex food and catching up in general.
Of course, that was probably the worst time she could have chosen to take a trip. Only a couple days had passed when whisperings of some new infections had come to pass, exponentially ballooning into a scream and then a roar. Flights were cancelled, the roads quickly blocked up, and chaos broke through. Amidst everything, she stuck close to Rafael, not knowing what the future would hold. Hopefully things were okay at home, cause they certainly had gone to hell in America.
