Title: Kaari's Backstory
So, some context; my character Kaari's backstory involves some superstition and mythology of an indigenous people. A holy macguffin was taken from them, and her entire trip from South America to New York is essentially to get that macguffin back from the man who stole it. Due to the timing of the Red Eye outbreak, she basically believes the reason the dead are rising is because the gods are angry. I could go into exhaustive detail about her beliefs. Now, I wrote that with the intent that it was coincidence. I didn't know trolls and such were running around. Still, the option is there if you wanted to use it, which brings me to my ticket issue.
The last clue Kaari had about the macguffin in question is that the man who stole it, a Professor who worked with indigenous tribes, worked at a university in New York. At this time, Kaari and Constantine are taking a road trip to Bartertown, with a pit stop along the way at said university. The way I was assuming I would play this was for Kaari to find some evidence of where the man lived, maybe. An evacuation notice to a particular place. Or maybe a receipt of sale of one macguffin to X group. More breadcrumbs to follow, keep her strung along. I was initially going to leave all of the details vague, but if there's some way you all wanted to incorporate this into the greater storyline, that would be neat.
