≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

    After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

    This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

    Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Biography
An ex-soldier, lost his best friend in war. Doesn't like to approach to people in moments of chaos, that makes him remember all the ones he lost that he cared about. He likes to help, try to save anyone he can, but avoid attachment at all costs.

He keeps his own war, fighting the enemies on the street, but has no risk on losing anyone anymore.

Your app looks great so far! There's just one little thing:
  • It isn't completely clear that you've read the lore. Your biography contains nothing directly relating to it. The most important thing to note is that we are currently 14 years into the apocalypse. It began in February 2015, and it is now June 2029 in-game. Either Levi is 48/49, or he was 21 at the start. Whichever you'd prefer!
    • Additionally, could you elaborate a bit more on what he's done for the past 14 years? It's a long time—there's a lot that can be done in that amount of time! You don't need to add much more. A few sentences will suffice.
