Personality
Stubborn but caring, I intend to make this character a 'good' character and lean towards a morally good mindset. She will tend to help people but she isn't naive to how the world works and tends to be un-trusting to people she doesn't know. To the people she does know she'd do what she can to help them whether it be small or large. I imagine them to be a bit of a isolationist and relying on oneself once trust in others falters. I want it to be flexible, every person can change and adapts to the world as new events happen and I want this character to embody that, but her default reaction is to try be peaceful, but if she is desperate to all hell and has no other choice doing what she has to do stay alive.
I imagine her goals to be get a safe place to live with a couple friends, grab a pint and wait for all this to blow over. Seriously short term wise would just be survival and finding a place to sleep that she doesn't need to keep an eye open, long term would be finding a small group of people to whom she trusts and sticking together for who knows how long it can last. I imagine her to be rather nomadic and more a scavenger orientated character that can handle herself as time progresses. (I don't want to be a handicap) I reckon she'd be one to take initiative to make choices and pitch in to help group survival, if she is in a group that is.
Physical Appearance
Sporting neck length black hair, blue eyes and of Caucasian descent Lauren is a moderately heighted person at a steady 5 foot 10 inch. She keeps in shape with jogs and such and has rather good endurance. She has soft features with a defined jawline and eyebrows. She tries rather hard to look presentable.

Biography
Lauren Woodcott was born Stone Reach, TX (Muldraugh) in 1998 December 17th. She lived with her Mother and Father in a rural surburb in town, she attended the school nearby and had a relatively average childhood. Her Father worked at a Lumber Mill near town and her Mother was a self established writer. Lauren made a few friends in school and such and knew quite a few people around town, she is a pretty upbeat, extroverted person and is partial to introduce herself to just about anyone. In College she spent her time studying writing and Arts, in her footsteps of her mother, but she is also interested in Photography and Journalism to small amounts. In her free-time she enjoys walking, reading exercising and talking to people and attending parties. She would host them if she could but her Parents were more for BBQ's then the parties she had in mind. Lauren is a witty, smiley and persistent person who knows roughly what she wants.
During her late teens and early twenties Lauren started an Apprenticeship's and Internships with a few stores and local business's in town but she lacked fortitude to stick with them for more then a year, she tended to bounce around jobs and has worked from a Pizza Delivery person to a general store clerk assistant. She is a pretty employable person but can't seem to get a leg off into a writing industry as she is a struggling with book idea's at the time. Lauren usually hangs around the parks or local cafe's with her group of friends but she tends to wander with them from time to time. Lauren has never really had any love interest until she is older because she believes it would screw up her chances in getting anywhere in life. She is also not keen on the idea of a relationship and is more of a asexual monogamist dudette. Who is all about friends.
Personality wise Lauren is an averagely nice person who would rather just party with her friends then go out alone all the time though she still will to contemplate issues in her life. She has never really enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing, hunting or camping and is more a town dweller. When she got her license at 18 years old and had a small stable enough job of a pet sitter she made enough to buy a small flat that was shared with a few other like-wise adults trying to get there feet planted in the real world. When the end of good old America happens she got split up from her flat mates when they tried to head to safety at one of her friends Father's cabin near Fort Holly. The roads were blocked and carnage was main stream as chaos ransacked the town and people fled in every direction only to end up cornered and attacked. Lauren was one of the lucky few who escaped riots and the sheer amounts of death all around the town as she fled into an abandoned home and barricaded herself inside with furniture after she got split up from her friends. She spends the next week listening to the TV and a small radio inside the home hoping for any news of what is going on or any rescue possibly on the way.
