Personality
Considering her job revolves around talking, Anna is effortlessly extroverted. She is used to being in positions of authority and will usually be the first to command others and take hold of a situation. This could lead to her becoming a natural leader, or simply a control freak that others steer clear of. Her intense anxiety revolves around her need for control, and so when situations get out of hand she can often make extremely irrational decisions. If her anxiety is kept at bay and managed well, Anna can be an unnervingly firm person.
In the beginning, Anna will refuse to adapt to the new world and will struggle to make difficult decisions. This paired with her extremely careful approach to dangerous situations will make her a survivor that relies more so on avoiding trouble rather than directly confronting it. Anna is not an independent person, she functions much better while in a group and can become possessive of her friends.
Physical Appearance
Anna is 32 years old, weighs approximately 145 pounds, and is 5’9”. Wrinkles line the edges of her face; her heavily hooded eyes a deep blue. Her long, golden blonde hair drifts behind her like smoke, her crowning feature, and she wears an array of earthy-toned layers of clothing; flowy cardigans accessorized by modest beaded jewelry with an occasional simple stone or jewel. Her features are soft, but the muscles that line them are hardened and masculine, almost brutal.

Biography
Anna grew up as a trust fund baby. Her parents were both wildly successful, and yearning for a break they decided to settle down in a small town in Texas. Unfortunately, the parents only got a few weeks of peace after Anna’s birth, and they were pulled back into their hectic careers. As a result, Anna was raised with anything she could ever ask for and financial security that most adults never reach, though her parents were never in the picture. Instead, Anna was raised by the staff and caregivers of the house. The town itself was too small for Anna, and the very few kids around her age growing up found it difficult to relate to her. Mitchell, her younger brother by six years, became Anna’s best friend growing up. In a way, Anna raised Mitchell more so than their parents did; he was the one constant in Anna’s life.
Most of their similarities ended there, though. While Mitchell was content with living off of their parents it never sat quite well with Anna. She was the overachiever and golden child of the family, constantly begging for their parents' attention with good grades and countless other achievements that could never really impress them given their own remarkably ambitious lives. As a result, Anna pushed herself further. She attended college without hesitation, and once that was complete she attended law school and graduated from that. Over time, Anna began to stop expecting anything from her parents, instead turning to Mitchell for support.
In a way, Anna became very similar to her parents. She was signed to one of the top law firms in the U.S. as a criminal defense lawyer, and although she was successful she wasn’t exactly satisfied or happy. She didn’t necessarily need to work for money, and her job was pushing her past her limits. Then, she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of thirty. Chronic myeloid leukemia. That was the breaking point for Anna, and without much thought, she quit her job and spent weeks holed up in her home unsure of what she’s done with life. She hadn’t spoken that much to Mitchell through the years, and by chance he reached out during this time, unaware of the situation. He offered to move in with her, and once again he was the constant in her life that kept her from ending it all. He inspired Anna to move forward and to find purpose amidst her high stakes job.
It’s been two years since then. The two of them are still living with and supporting each other every step of the way, and they broke away from the chaos of the city and are living in a house in Stone Reach, Texas, just down the road from a clinic where Anna treats her cancer. She's signed with a smaller, though much more relaxed local law firm and now volunteers at local nonprofit charities in her spare time. Mitchell has encouraged her to break away from her stressful lifestyle as well, she now regularly smokes weed and has become a full-fledged pescatarian. Although it’s not entirely clear to Mitchell, Anna has done all of these things to keep in touch with him and relate to her brother.
Once the news of the outbreak poured in Anna stocked up on resources immediately and has stayed completely indoors during the entire outbreak period with Mitchell. So many restless nights went by during this time, and recently they’re stocks have been running low, and Anna fears she might just have to adapt to this new world.
