David is a rather ambitious and sarcastic person. When confronted in dangerous or uncomfortable situations, he will crack jokes with his dry humor in an attempt to hide his fear, though most of the time this tactic falls flat. He tends to keep to himself outside of a professional environment and prefers to keep his home clean and organized. He does not like being restricted, and will find subtle ways to retaliate when he finds he is under the thumb of someone he deems undesirable.

Character Motivations
The primary driver of David is his own preservation and comfort. While he doesn't like to, he will step over shoulders and do 'unsavory things' to ensure his own safety. Other than this, he is willing to help whoever may come across his path, so long as they don't demand that help with the backing of lead. His main goal for the apocalypse is to help his fellow survivors and to have a clinic where he can help people, regardless of their reputation.

Physical Appearance
David is a relatively healthy person on the surface. He is not dangerously overweight, nor underweight, leaning on the scale of dad bods. He sports messy, unkempt black hair with a poorly shaven goatee. His skin is that of a dark hazel, and he prefers to laze around in jeans and a tank top. He has a visible scar on his right arm from a home improvement accident, and walks with distinctively poor posture.

Biography
I grew up in Scottsville, born into a well-off family. We never had to worry about money or resources, and my main focus was my education. I fought hard to come out on top academically through high school, and this fight is what brought me through med school. Since Scottsville has always been my home and I never attempted to stray from it, I decided to open a clinic. However, shit hit the fan before I ever had the chance to fulfill my dream, and I was forced into survival mode.

When news broke out of this outbreak 14 years ago, I holed up in my apartment. I was scared to go outside, scared to breathe the air that may be shared with one who is infected. Some may call me insane, I call it precaution. I only had enough food to last for about two weeks, and I was not sure about the infrastructure holding up. I began stockpiling as much water as possible, but it didn't matter because of the food limitations. I was forced to leave, and that began the period of time that I called myself "The Nomad". I didn't have a home, nor a permanent settlement. I would go from building to building, traveling light and taking only as much food as I needed. This was successful for the majority of my time within this hell, but recently I have fallen upon the radar of some bandits. They see through my tactics and my scavenging plans. I have once again been forced into hiding, and as of August 2029, I am scared to make my face seen.
