Santiago is not a calm person. The role of a single father made him quite nervotic and short-tempered. Being a father was hard even before the outbreak. Unlike his wife, Santiago had never knew how to handle children, especially his two abnormally hyper-active boys. So, he spoke with them on the language of hard words and fists.
Santiago is indicisive. He could never kill his two sons, when they turned. Instead, he locked them up in a basement of an apartment builing and left them there for almost 6 years. When he finally decided to kill them, he returned to the city only to find the building collapsed. He had never gotten to know what happened to his boys. After that, he harboured a deep and suffocating regret in his bosom and had never recovered from it.
Santiago is caring. In the old-life he was working in a support line for people suffered from abuse. He really liked his job, though not being very bright, he could never saw the irony.
Santiago is depentend and compliant. He has always loved celebrities. He has been following this or that person as long as he remembers himself, even after the outbreak. Before his wife left, she had explained it to him: "Nugget, you didn't marry me because you loved me, no. I was just that girl in school, whom everyone talked about. And you just wanted to be in the spotlight. And when my "celebritiness" faded, you went to that actress of yours. That's all you've ever wanted, nugget, to be in a spotlight. I hope it burns you one day..."
Character Motivations
Santiago does not want much. To put it bluntly, he just wants to be an acolyte of an idol. But, the most important one. So, that everyone paid him attention.
Physical Appearance
A scrawny short latino man with aquiline nose and two little iris eyes sadly looking over the world from under thick bushy eyebrows. An enormous birthmark exdends from his nape over the right part of the neck. His movements are nervous and rapid.

Biography
Born in an immigrant family trying to live the American dream, Santiago and his two younger sisters did not know their parents that well. And even when the family spent their time together, Santiago always felt as if his sisters got more of the parent's attention, then he did.
In school Santiago met his first wife, a school "celebrity" and proposed to her on the prom. Surprisingly to everyone, she said yes.
Five years into the marriage, Santiago's wife leaves him and two children after withessing her husband affair with a local prima.
A few years later, the outbreak starts. During the first year, Santiago loses both of his sons. For a few months he lives in the building where he locked his children. During this time, he tries to eat off the grief and find pleasure in bashing zeds heads by throwing bricks from a balcony.
One evening he sees a blazing campfire and a group of people on the horizon. Next morning he meets their scavenge party in the field and so joins his first survivors group. Over the years, he changes them non-stopingly, usually for the reason that none of them survived long enough.
The same thing has happened right before his appearence on the stage. A mighty group of twenty nomad caravaneers came upon a military outpost and not without Santiago's fault stumbled right into a minefield left by the army. Their beloved leader did not survive, and Santiago ran in fear for his life.
