Character Motivations
He is lost and is not sure if there is meaning to life, he is to afraid to face his family he let die so he keeps on walking.
Physical Appearance
Darren Walsh is a middle aged man well build for a man drifting in the barrens. He is a wethered and rough man, his skin looks frail and his hands are calloused and stained. His face is spotted with freckles with his thick peppered beard. His right eye is whited and blind and his other a light brown. All along his back are scratches long scared over. His hair is greying and long slicked back to be out of his face.

Biography
Darren Walsh was a family that is all he loved his beautiful wife and daughter they were his world. His family lived in a cramped New York apartment but they were happy, saving for a home out in the country and working their hardest to make that dream a reality. That dream came crashing down sooner than he would have expected. it started so sudden the dead where everywhere in the city and they had nowhere to go. They came closer and closer until the dead where at his front door. Darren wasn't as brave as he or his family thought, he fled to the only room with a fire escape and accidentally slamming his wife's arm in the door and his daughters neck. He had killed them his daughter choking and being eaten alive while is wife screamed in pain. He held the door shut with all his might, his wife screaming for his help. She clawed at his back like a wild animal searching for something to save it. Darren escaped his apartment but not his hell. He can't die, if he dies he would have to face his family and face what he has done. So he slinks into the wilderness trying to prolong the real suffering that he awaits. Darren had fled to Pennsylvania from New York in hopes that he could find a quiet place to lay low permanently, yet he has spend the majority of the last 14 years as a nomad occasionally trading and living with others for short periods of time . He can't find a place to escape his dreams or the dead that walk the night. His insistent wandering had led him back to New York, Monroe County specifically. He cant stop his mind so his feet move on from town to town and he doesn't expect this one to be any different.
