Character Motivations
The hope to survive until order can be established so that he can return to the U.K to make sure his family is still alive. He survives for them.
Physical Appearance
Male, Caucasian, 1m78cm tall. Blond hair (traditional haircut), blue eyes, not particularly strong but not a weakling. Average build. Has a large birth mark on right arm between elbow and shoulder. Has scars on his hands from where his younger sister scratched him. Has circulatory problems in his hands - in colder weather they turn a bluish-purple.

Biography
Born in London, England. Grew up in French/American household with atheist values but after going to private school wanted to become a Christian. Although living in the U.K his entire life, he felt a strong connection to the U.S.A and was fiercely patriotic. He had many friends, but was never particularly successful with the ladies. His interests are history, in particular the Napoleonic Wars and 20th Century revolutions, enjoys watching videos about guns and car mechanics and everything related to the second world war. He always enjoyed everything related to the outdoors and took part in the CCF and DofE at school, gaining a marksmanship badge for the L85A1. An accomplished student, he was accepted to the University of Virginia a month before the outbreak. Once the outbreak happened, he was lost. He didn't know anyone in Virginia, but knew he had family living in rural Massachusetts, he had visited them when he was 7 with his family. His American family wasn't like his parents. They were poor, and he had seen them as rednecks before. Would they accept him? Were they even still alive? He didn't know. Nonetheless he had to reach them, they were his best chance of survival. Before he could begin his journey however, the sound of helicopters and sirens were filling the air, Charlottesville was not going to last the night. He got the hell out of dodge with another hotel guest, Emma Plinkington, another foreign student from Exeter who had also been prepping herself for admission. She had been in the U.S for longer, and had a car. They drove miles, fleeing the horrors they had encountered in Virginia and ended up in the Midwest, an abandoned logging camp became their home for the next 10 years. They met people, they befriended people, and they learnt how to survive. He had given up on meeting his family in Massachusetts a long time ago now, and could only pray that his parents and sister were still alive. In the ninth year of his residency in the logging camp, a strange illness spread through the camp like wildfire. He and Emma tried to escape before they too succumbed to the disease. Alas, Emma was infected before they could leave and he had to flee alone. He had given up hope, Kendall had nothing to live for, or so he thought. He had lived and the others had died for a reason. Survival of the fittest. He had to keep going, and never give up. He was going to find other survivors, and build something that will last whether they want it or not. He set out east, towards the coast, and ended up in New York State, Middleburgh to be precise. There were scrawlings telling people to head to Monroe. He had seen plenty of these delirious carvings before, but this time, it seemed real. Maybe he would get a chance.
