Before the apocalypse, I'd say Thomas would be set on doing the right thing. But we all know how trauma can change a man. Now he's amoral. He doesn't care about the right or wrong in his actions. Sometimes he feels a little amount of remorse for the things he's had to do, but the feeling is usually pushed down pretty quickly. He did what he had to do, and he'd do it again. When moments aren't too serious Thomas can usually be found being a pretty goofy guy in order to lighten the mood.

He's driven by hope, and fear. hope keeps him searching for somewhere to call home. The fear is keeping him alive.

Biography
I grew up in a place called Overton. It's a small town in southern Nevada, just outside of Vegas. There, I lived with my dad, often helping him rebuild the engines on old beat up trucks, or going out riding dirt bikes. I was 20 when the apocalypse started. My dad was killed at the start of the outbreak, it was hard to watch. After his death I found a small group of people. I stuck it out with them for a while and worked as their mechanic. After Overton became a pile of rubble and death, we started traveling east, in hopes of finding some sort of life for us out there. The travel has been long and Tough. One by one, everyone from the group started dropping. Dehydration, starvation, and the elements had been getting to us all. Now there's nobody left. I made it to Upstate New York. Alone and exhausted. Who knows what this place will have for me.
