Poppy comes off as deceptively bubbly and harmless looking, betraying just how skilled she is with her bare hands as well as varying kinds of weapons. Her thoughts tend to be kind of spacey at times and she has a very spiritual sense of the world, but despite this she can read the room better than people think and is tougher than she looks both physically and emotionally. While she’s not stupid, she is very easygoing and kind unless there is some kind of fight going on.
Character Motivations
Having been essentially robbed of her childhood and teenage years, she is eager to explore the world despite what it’s become. She is protective of her twin sister, feeling a sense of responsibility for her even though she was born merely five minutes before her. She will always look out for her sister and her parents first, then herself. The world can burn around her, but she will be alright with it as long as her family is there. She is a very skilled hunter and cook, liking to hunt and forage for her own food, and doesn’t mind getting dirty in the slaughterhouse with a smile.

Poppy stands at 5’5, with fair skin and dark hair. She has blue eyes and a lean body. She is usually seen wearing some kind of cute accessory or item of clothing on her person.

Biography
Poppy was born in Texas along with her twin sister, Magnolia. Their mother was a gymnastics coach and their father worked in an oil company, both very different yet they were hopelessly in love with one another. Poppy took more after her mother’s interests in the occult and astrology despite her Christian father’s gentle disapproval, something which he had grown used to because of their mother. Poppy began practicing gymnastics at an early age along with her sister under their mother’s coaching, having entered several competitions before the virus broke out.
She doesn’t have horrible memories of when everything changed. Her parents had managed to stay in a safe community for a long time, so her childhood was spent perfecting her hunting skills as well as her gymnastics while watching some old cartoon movies here and there that she had insisted to be brought along. She still has them to this day and frequently watches them.
Being a young adult in her twenties, she is very eager to experience new things away from her parents, as much as she loves them. She wants space while at the same time never wanting to be apart from them, especially her sister Magnolia.
