Biography
Jan Kerich was born in Pittsford, his parents teetering on the brink of middle class and falling into poverty of the lower districts. Because of that, they held high hopes for his son, who helped around with his father's job of loading and unloading cargo. During one of these cargo unloading trips, he discovered a huddled together family hidden in one of the boxes-Not afraid of his father, but afraid of him.
What sort of group his dad helped was unclear to Jan, but he could see that the work he was doing was good, plain and simple. And so, without the knowledge of his mother, he began helping out more and more in whatever they were doing, even if he had not the slightest clue what it actually was. Delivering messages by using his street smarts and small posture, helping pick out routes for his dad...It was a 'superhero' routine that he was getting used to-Until he turned 17.
Getting back home to discover his mother beaten within an inch of her life and peacekeepers in his home, he feared for his family's life.The panic and the worry for his mother led to him selling out his father in the face of minimal pressure and "persuasion".He never saw him again, his mother is presumably on the streetsand he got by the skin of his teeth-Instead of execution, he got conscripted.Ever since then, a burning hatred developed-For the CPF and the chain of command.
