Mike Rowell is an American news journalist from Chicago Illinois who gained recognition for his coverage of major news events during his career. He is best known for his work with the Castle Cable Network (CCN), The What We Become universe counterpart of CNN, where he served as a correspondent for countless years at home and abroad. Mike began his career as a journalist with the Associated Press (AP), where he covered various news stories for three years. He would then land a job as a local newscaster for WGC in Chicago where he would broadcast for two short years before he was scouted to join the newly formed Castle Cable Network (CCN), A satellite cable network with the goal of providing constant news coverage 24 hours a day seven days a week, Mike would go on to serve as a correspondent covering a wide range of stories from politics, social issues, to environmental disasters, and major conflicts, Mike was one of countless media personalities covering the Red Eye epidemic when it ravaged the world, Through luck or design.. He had managed to live to survive against the undead hordes and find himself in the CPF, Where he would work for the Coalition Times, Pittsford Tribune and Coalition Broadcast Network CBN during the events of What We Become. Mike is a laid back guy with a silver tongue and keen investigative tact, What he lacks in combat he has in people skills and deduction, He is respected by his peers and the public for his objectivity and charming dry wit. A saying in the pre outbreak world was "If Mike Rowell said it, It must be true." End of the world or not, Mike is still chugging along doing the same thing he would have done before the dead walked the Earth, Find a good story to write home about to his readers.
