≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

    After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

    This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

    Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Approximately how many hours have you played on Gateway Roleplay?
I think I have more than 2 or three.... Thousand hours...

Approximately how many hours do you play a week?
I can dedicate a couple hours, this is variable though as sometimes I have more or less free time.

What previous roleplay experience do you have?
I've been in GWR/ND for years, and I've run many games in TTRPGs

Have you ever been involved in roleplay leadership and/or creating a lore?
Yes, GMing been my bread and butter

Have you ever been an admin on an online game? If so, for what groups and for how long?
No unless you cound GMing

Do you have any skills that could help the team?
I am a programming student so I can aid with coding stuff after I take time to familiarize myself with lua and PZ coding. Besides that I've DM before so I like to think I can write stories, factions and/or characters

What do you think you may need to improve upon in terms of being an admin?
nothing comes to mind

If you had to suggest a change to the way things are done on Gateway, what would it be?
Not much comes to mind, but I'll be sure to forward anything.
