Yura, by all means, shouldn't have been born.
He was an accident, a result of some politician, or maybe a high ranking official of any other kind...Yura never exactly realized, and he didn't care too much either-And his mother, who was a prostitute. How the pregnancy happened exactly was also unclear to him, but he knew that his father valued keeping things a secret....Therefore, him and his mother lived in the wealthy districts ,and Yura enjoyed a relatively happy childhood.
Well, until he learned what people thought of his mother. Despite her trying her best to leave the past behind and give Yura the best shot at life, the rumors in the district thought otherwise. The boy often got into fights with the rich, snobby kids who called his mother a whore and other demeaning names-Which in turn, lowered the family's reputation even more. Despite being a troublemaker kid in his teens, he still showed deep love towards his mother.
Unfortunately, the reputation followed him into adulthood, making finding any sort of job...Quite difficult.Rumors continued to spread, and Yura was getting tired of all the insults direted at his mother and him. Deciding to try and salvage his family's reputation, he joined the defense force, hoping that it will stop at least some of the more nastier things said about his mother.
It worked-sort of.He was not respected in the slightest, but his lack of response to the taunts, and his general hardworking attitude earned him the respect he wanted and needed from his superiors.Yura's true self is often hidden, though-Only revealing itself when he decides to swim, a hobby he has had since childhood.
