Grant was the older brother to Renold and didn't share his brother's view on loyalty to a company which he felt took his parents away from him. He spent most of his time outside and making sure to stay away from any over bearing force. Years went by but after his brother, Renold, joined the coalition ship as a electrician and encouraged him to join, Grant declined the offer and cut contact with him. He fled to a town and used his old crossbow to hunt game to sustain himself, which allowed him to stay out of any political nonsense that people were talking about. He just wants to go back to leaving peacefully alone.
