Personality
Angelina enjoyed a highly privileged life before the outbreak and is used to having nice things. She puts high value in material items and is protective over what is rightfully hers. Despite being the kind of girl who likes order, Angelina suffers from being lazy and struggles to keep herself organised. She’s always been renowned for being fashionably late – timekeeping is hardly her forte. Nevertheless, she usually makes for pleasant company, having a great sense of humour – so long as it isn’t directed at her – with a sharp tongue, too.
Being without her family for the outbreak, Angelina finds herself longing for people to connect with at a deeper, more personal level. There’s her longing for closer relationships, but then there is also her desire for people to help her to survive. Although she is independent on a day-to-day basis, she recognises that she would struggle to survive alone and so wants to thrive with other people around her.
Physical Appearance
Angelina’s hair is well kept, naturally wavy and blonde in colour. She likes to keep herself looking and feeling fresh, usually found wearing a comfortable designer t-shirt and a pair of slim jeans. Standing at 5”5, Angelina is of a curvier build but is very comfortable with her body. Her facial features are soft and feminine, with her eyes being light blue and cheeks slightly pink.

Biography
Born to oil engineers David and Samantha McKinnon in Aberdeen, Scotland, Angelina and her younger sister Freya grew up travelling between Aberdeen, Texas and Dubai for their parents’ work. The sisters were never very happy about having to say goodbye to their friends all too often, so once the children reached high school age the family decided to settle down in Houston for a permanent home. Enrolled in a private girls’ school, Angelina never had to stray too far away from her life of privilege, with all of her friends being from equally wealthy oil or big-business type families. She was perfectly content with this, too, not having to witness the struggles that the rest of the country had to face under various governments across the years. Angelina found that during her time at school, English and literature was something that she had a particular enjoyment for, but her parents put a lot of pressure on both her and her sister to excel in the sciences and maths.
Angelina never had a particular dream of what she wanted to do after leaving high school. It was expected that she would go to university in the U.K. and study some type of engineering degree, but upon graduating from high school in the U.S., Angelina decided that she wanted to do some travelling before committing to university life. Funded by her parents bank accounts, Angelina spent the year travelling across Europe and the British Isles, staying in hostels and hearing so many different stories that she’d never even imagined could have been true the year before. While not paying for her trip herself, Angelina found this experience to be more than humbling, opening her eyes to all different kinds of ways of life. Upon returning to the U.S., a confirmed a place at a university in Scotland to study a mechanical engineering degree, mainly due to pressure from her parents.
While Angelina wasn’t studying with passion, she was studying with dedication. She was desperate to do as well as she could in her degree, knowing that a lucrative career was waiting for her if she could get a first class degree. It wasn’t an easy couple of years for her, but she had settled in surprisingly well in her country of birth and made amazing friends from all kinds of different backgrounds. As much as she missed her life in the States, she was happy to be able to spend her money however she wanted to.
Before the outbreak, Angelina was enjoying her last few weeks with all of her friends in the States, having returned for the summer after her exams in Scotland. She’d had a summer fling going on with one of her friend’s older brothers and was looking forward to kissing that goodbye, not being one for a committed relationship at all. She was used to people, both male and female, being allured by her charms, so the prospect of a boyfriend really bored her. Ultimately, she just wanted to get back to her friends at university, looking forward to moving into her new flat for the year.
Angelina was alone and in Texas, however, when the true horrors of the world really uncovered. Her parents were working and her little sister was at a sports club when things really got bad in Houston, with an emergency news bulletin showing the city’s collapse right before her eyes. Naturally, she opted to stay at home and await her family’s return, but no one ever came. Wary of looters and violence spilling her way, Angelina spent much of the early days hidden away in her bedroom, keeping herself comforted with junk food and movies. It soon became apparent to her that help was not coming. When the food ran out, Angelina only lasted a day before caving into the hunger and leaving Houston, driving in a direction where she could not foresee what would be ahead of her…
