Travis Leeds

Yes
Has this character appeared in a previous lore?
No
Age
45
Personality
Travis Leeds is a man of immense character and not the type that most people find appealing. He is a born and bred schizophrenic with Manson-like qualities. He desires the affection of his followers and the pleasure of claiming the life that he does not find a purpose in. His ultimate desire is to purge the world of filth, ushering in a new era for his, and his follower's children. He will stop at nothing to achieve that goal, and he is prepared to die on his path to finding it.
Physical Appearance
Travis is a disheveled looking man standing at six-foot with a scraggly beard. His eyes tell a story in themselves, one of comfort if he finds you to be acceptable to his cause, and one of endless icy darkness if you're not. His body is covered in numerous tattoos, most of which claim him to be an oracle to God, a pariah to the masses, and ultimately the final hope to civilization. He speaks with a strong Texan accent, one that would place him in the boonies of the State, long outside of most cities.

Okay, so. I'm more than aware that this isn't the place to put this, but consider this a plea for these items. I'm fully aware that I am asking for a lot of admin-spawned stuff and support here, but we're trying to play actual antagonists as players, and the fact of the matter is, over half of active server consists of very stat-heavy military characters with high aim, lots of items, and tons of armor. If you ever want players to be able to play antagonists, you're going to have and loosen up on something like this. If we start out with hardly anything, we're going to get wiped out the first time we do something or tracked down throughout the entire map.
We are really wanting to be credible threats to these groups that adds to the tension of the lore. If we're not able to get these items and approval, I don't see much ever-rising outside of what you do as admins. Nobody has stepped up to play an antagonist yet, and this issue has persisted from each lore. So, please, and thank you for reading.
Are there any characters you plan to group with from the start?
Willie Monroe - POG
Purts
El Cid
Potentially Rabbit and one other.
Would you like to pre-claim a building?
No.
Biography
Travis Leeds is a born and bred native to Cincinnati, Ohio. His mother, a housewife, and father, a Korean war veteran did not offer him a good childhood - replacing normal activities with those involving survival prep. At the height of the Cold War, his father started preparing in the event of nuclear warfare and had gone so far as to spend ninety-nine percent of the families saving on producing an underground bunker beneath their farm. Most of Travis’ days were spent learning basic combat training, how to use a rifle, how to produce survival-based foods, such as; pemmican and so on. Soon enough, his father had a thriving community living at his farm comprised of his war-buddies and their families.
By the time Travis hit the age of eighteen, his father succumbed to a lung infection in the middle of the night after a few months of ailment. He coped by falling under his blood-brother, helping him with many of the inner-workings of the organization, but by the time he reached the age of twenty and the fear of the Cold War died down to nothing, most of the community disbanded. The families who were still alive and thriving moved from the compound and back into civilization. Travis, with no common education to speak of, went out into the world with the eyes of a new-born puppy. He drifted from place to place, picking up on basics such as reading and writing on his own.
Come to the age of twenty-seven and Travis had finally found his calling in life after following numerous fringe news broadcasts regarding the current state on both the War on Drugs and the War on Terror. These headlines always appealed to him, the mass hysteria lingering right behind the frames was evident to him, but few others and it was purely intoxicating. The answer he dreamt of was admiration, a following of his own, people who drank up the words that came from his mouth, and with that, spent the next twenty years of his life forming connections with various groups ranging from the KKK to pure old fashion skinheads. By the time he reached the age of forty, he had formed a Manson-like group of nomads, ranging from drifters without a purpose, ex-military, and good old boys from Kentucky with a knack of killing people who didn’t look like them, or they simply didn’t like. They patrolled the border, offering a faux-offer of safe passage to illegal immigrants to the American promise-land, only to brutally and horrifically murder them, dumping their bodies across the border to make the case one in a long-forgotten list of federal investigations into the disappearances of illegal immigrants. For Travis, he was purging the world of filth, and this was only the beginning.
Once the outbreak occurred, Travis and his family found a world without law to wreak havoc upon. They’ve entered the greater Texas area after taking numerous casualties in their journies with the intention of finding new prospects and purging the area of those they deem unworthy of the gift of life.
