Personality
Angela is a no nonsense woman. Many might describe her as an 'Ice Bitch' when it comes to other lawyers but she's damn good at her job and gets her work done. She's aggressive, confident in herself, and doesn't back down from a case, working even through the night if necessary in order to make sure she doesn't lose her cases. Starting up 'Hawkins and Pierce', her own law firm recently has proven to be a new challenge both of them have been able to overcome with the praise of their previous clients spread to new ones and it has shown just how persistent both her and her partner are.
Outside of work, Angela is almost like a different person. She's laid back and owns a house with a big yard she uses exclusively for gardening. She's quite the introvert and a private person, keeping to herself a lot of the time. She enjoys wine, loves her gardening, and sitting out on her porch while it rains.. As the outbreak broke out, Angel became more introverted and limited her contact with others to purely professional contact and contact at the grocery store until she was unable to go there anymore.
Character Motivations
Angela has hopes to become the next District Attorney for her area and eventually even perhaps pursuing a career in politics possibly. She's motivated by a desire to see America become a better country than it is currently, and having the drive and motivation needed in order to achieve this vision. Since the outbreak she's been driven by the goals to keep herself safe as she has no family to worry about or religion to fall back on in these trying times.
Physical Appearance
Angela is a 5'6" woman in her mid-thirties with naturally dark brown hair (image isn't of that hair color due to not many images of Natalie with brown hair), and green and blue hazel eyes. She has a pale skin tone and weighs about 135 lbs. Angela's build is that of someone who is active enough to keep herself healthy but not someone who devotes a huge amount of time to pure exercise.

Biography
Angela was born the daughter of Theodore and Naomi Hawkins, two well known members of their community, in November of 1978. Despite her parents being well known and respected in their community, they were not rich in the slightest. Angela came from poverty, born and raised on a farm with five brothers and two sisters, her being the oldest of eight siblings in total. Her mother and father both taught her on the farm, specifically teaching her how to take care of the machinery around the farm, the vehicles as well as raising the crops, tending to the animals, and the womanly duties of the house as well. As her siblings were born and came along, it was up to her to teach them once she proved to be a quick study and attentive learner in whatever she did. Her brothers and sisters looked up to her as a leader almost and followed her stead, learning their work ethic from her.
Through sheer determination, drive, and stubbornness, she graduated from school two years early and put herself through both a bachelor's in political science (pre-law) and law school as well. When she graduated from the University of Chicago's law program, she started as an intern at a law firm in the city and she rose in the ranks rather quickly. Young, determined, and confident, Angela showed she was a serious woman in a firm filled with the men being the lawyers and the women, secretaries. She overcame the adversity of the workplace as the only woman working there until another was hired about five years after she started there. Even in adulthood, Angela had a love of growing things and bringing something from nothing out of the dirt into existence. In the city it still remained this way and when she got her own place, she started her own garden in her small backyard that was the envy of many of her neighbors. She never really had much of a social life though and may or may not have found herself talking to her plants more often than another person outside of the workplace.
Once she's gotten a name for herself and developed a reputation, she moved on from Chicago and moved back home to take care of her aging parents. She found with with a small firm in Kentucky and worked there quite successfully for another five years when she and a co-worker decided to start a firm of their own using the success and acclaim they'd gathered in Kentucky to establish their client base. The two were on their way to becoming more successful than their original firm in Kentucky when word of a pandemic started to spread. She continued to work up until the worst of it when she decided to move to her parents' farm and take care of them in isolation while the world started to end.
