Dana could be described as aloof. Her mind often wonders, she acts without thinking. She rarely seems to care about any situation she finds herself in. She wouldn't go out of her way to harm someone, but she wouldn't go out of her way to help someone either. She falls into situations and does what she must to get through them. She's often absent minded and sometimes loses focus when in conversations, she prefers being alone, and she speaks in monotone.
Character Motivations
Dana reacts to what falls in her lap, she has no real goals, drifting through life. Dana did what her parents told her to do, and what her teachers told her to do, and now she does what society says she should do. Work.
Physical Appearance
A tall slender woman, Dana stands at 5'11. She always seems sleepy, her hair is long and straight. Dana, despite her personality wears brighter colors and strange clothes. Her skin is ghostly pale, her eyes a deep brown. She's about 120 pounds. She doesn't wear makeup. And it always seems her nails are painted various colors.

Dana had three siblings. Her parents were in their 40s when she was born, having 3 trial runs they knew exactly how to raise Dana, they knew what time she had to eat, when to bathe, when to do homework and when she was meant to watch television. Dana always had very strict instructions with what to do with her time. Due to this, Dana never developed a true personality, she was always distant. She told her parents she loved them. And she believes she does, because that's what she's supposed to do. Dana got good grades in school, because she was supposed to. She took ballet, because her parents told her too.
Dana graduated high school, and headed straight into college. She didn't keep in contact with any acquaintances she met in school, She stayed living at home so her parents could help keep her on track. Dana learned how to sew, because at her age her mother learned how to sew. Her parents wanted her to be a doctor, but in a rare moment of self interest she rebelled. Dana wouldn't be a doctor, college was a time to forget your parents. Dana would be a Veterinarian.. She didn't have a particular love for animals, her parents were not upset with her decision. Close enough, they thought.
Dana did fine in college, she did her homework like she was supposed to. She went to class, like they told her too. She read the books. And then she finally graduated. Dana got a job in a small pet hospital, she spent the second half of her 20s treating sick dogs and cats, birds, even mice. Her coworkers always found Dana effective but cold. She didn't tell families bad news gently. She did it like she did her job, most of her coworkers would avoid Dana. Her tendency to trail off in conversations or forget what she was doing sometimes got her in trouble. Her adult life is not unlike her childhood. She wakes up in the morning, gets ready for work. She goes to work, comes home and she reads. She follows this path over and over, day in and day out. She knows what she's meant to do and she's not looking to break her cycle anytime soon.
