Erin believes in the tenacity of the human spirit, and that all beings are deserving of happiness despite the horrible circumstances they've inherited -- she sees the good in people. She has an undiagnosed mental illness (Schizoaffective Bipolar), and as such has problems with mood swings such as mania, depression, and also experiences hallucinations and persistant delusions. Despite this she always tries to make the best out of every situation, as she doesn't wholly believe in no win scenarios. She has a creative mind and a unique way of looking at things. Her shortcomings include a habit of becoming obsessed with things, taking things too personally, coming off as self-centered.
Character Motivations
Erin wants several things but they always seem out of her grasp. She craves the validation of others to an absurd degree, feeling empty or lost without reassurance. She also dreams of what it'd be like to find someone who truly understood her. Because these things are out of her reach, she instead focuses on creating many many projects to become absorbed in, in attempt to bridge the gap. Initially she was headed for the Evac point, but changes her plans to taking over the radio station to deliver news and play people her favorite music (this coming to her as a "vision" she saw, something that seemed incredibly important even if it sounded dangerous/stupid/pointless.)
Physical Appearance
Erin dresses very tomboyish. She prefers to wear a simple band tshirt, a jacket and a pair of black jeans with a belt. She's frequently seen wearing a black bandana in her long, wavy, jet black hair. Her icy blue eyes have a habit of piercing into people. She stands at 5'9" and weighs approximitely 140lbs. Oh. Did I forget her nasty face scar? Ok. Yes, she has a scar on the right side of her face, from her nose down her cheek.

Biography
Born July 12th, 1986, Erin Nadine Fontaine's mother died after complications from child-birth. Her father was a drug addict and alchoholic gambler in Montana. As a result of her father's irresponsibility, Erin spent a lot of her youth being juggled between the custody of her maternal and paternal grandparents. The lack of consistent parental guidance left her with a bad attitude towards authority figures.
At the age of 17, Erin had worked hard to save up and purchase a car. She strived to be independent from her family, and even dropped out of school to focus on work. Choosing instead to live with her highschool bandmate she made plans for the future that involved being in a famous band and touring the world.
Fast forward to 2010 and Erin's playing in her band Naturally Mortal in Seattle, for a crowd of 500 people in her 5th stop in a tour across America. Everything was going perfectly for once.
But tragedy has a way of following Erin, her and her bandmate's van are struck by a vehicle that had hydroplaned into the wrong side of the road. Erin who had been sitting in the backseat managed to survive, but her other two bandmates in the front seat were killed instantly. Erin was lucky to leave only with a few scars, but her entire way of life had been shattered too. Without her bandmates she was lost and fell into a deep depression.
Eventually, her aunt on her mother's side who lived in Kentucky called her to check in, and to inform her of a job that would gain Erin's interest after she thought about it for a day or two. in 2012 she lands in Kentucky and starts to begin building her new life, with an internship at a radio station in Louisville.
