Has this character appeared in a previous lore?

Personality
An archetypical hero cop is designed with the thought of serving and protecting in mind, Richard has long defied this trope. He is a man whose actions are driven by an irrational fear of even the most mundane things, and now, in present time, death and harm.
Character Motivations
For the first season, Richard will be on a path of redemption. In the opening episode, he will commit actions that will paint a very negative light on him, his reliability and his character. If he manages to survive the finale, he will begin on a path of hardening to the environment and conquering his fears.
Physical Appearance
Richard stands at five-foot-eight and weighs one hundred and forty-nine pounds. His face is beyond dead-average with a long shape, average looks with dark brown eyes, brown hair, stubble and the expression of a man ready to break under the pressure at any given moment. He is built deceivingly strong for his body build and is rarely seen without his police uniform.

Biography
Born in April of 1981, Richard James Sullivan grew up as the youngest of three brothers and one sister. He had an average childhood with loving parents and good relationships with all of his siblings. He, however, was the runt of the group from appearance to personality. He had a whole slew of irrational fears ranging from bugs, snakes, geese, sharks - you name it. He was an undeniable coward, and scaring him was no hard task to accomplish - despite this, he had a deep admiration for members of local law enforcement for their duties and motto - serve and protect - a trait stemming from his late grandfather who served faithfully for fifteen years as a police officer before retiring to an office position.
The school-system was hell for someone like him. He suffered from severe bullying, people went out of their way to scare and terrorize him for the fun of it. He did manage to keep his grades high despite the constant paranoia of someone sneaking up on him, throwing something on him, or other things. By the time he graduated, he was accepted into college and attended criminal justice courses for the next few years. He received his degree, and then applied, and was accepted into the police academy where he spent the next months of his life receiving standardized training. He passed all of the physical requirements but was temporarily held back on several psychological reactions. On his third attempt, he was accepted and officially recognized as a police officer.
The next few years were rough. Richard, by and large, was a complete joke to his other officers in the Louisville Metro Police Department. He never got over his outrageous fears, and his comrades had no issue in exploiting them at every given moment for a few laughs. He spent his days on-the-job giving parking tickets, sat on desk duty, and rarely--if ever--seeing any form of action … That was until the Corto Virus outbreak hit the United States of America full-force. He was suddenly thrust from his calm, easy-going position to the frontlines, “aiding” his fellow officers in dispatching of riots and responding to violence. Some men are able to adjust when thrown in the fire, Richard was not one of them. It didn’t take long for him to crumble under the pressure and as the dead began to walk and fill the streets. Richard was set to man a post at one of the local hospitals in the area alongside his partner and several other officers tasked with evacuating numerous civilians out to safety. This whole rescue operation would prove to be a failure as a whole slew of the undead broke free from quarantine, overran several officers, and left Richard, his injured partner, and a few civilians fleeing. For the first time, Richard was presented with a choice - prove himself and overcome his fears, or succumb to them and reach safety alone. He chose to abandon his injured partner, managed to steal his patrol vehicle, and made it to the military pick-up right as the army rolled up.

DISCLOSURE!
Richard Sullivan is being made as a tertiary character by me, as a player, to help drive some roleplay. He will almost 100% die during the finale of Season 1 after fulfilling his arc of redemption (or before due to some unfortunate means). He will be sparsely played and rarely attend events. This is the reason for his lighter background! If this is not acceptable, let me know.
