Louis King
I Agree
Yes
Has this character appeared in a previous lore?
Yes
Age
41
Blood Type
A+
Personality
Louis is a typically relaxed, sharp-witted and a good friend; but he will often stubbornly cling to his personal strong moral code, which could result in bad calls and extra stress within a group (If he is under stress). Louis' greatest fault, perhaps, is his uncanny ability to place responsibility on himself and set himself goals that are impossible to reach and often weighs heavily on his mind. Despite his faults, his combat skill and general care for all, he comes off with a leader aspect even though he isn’t one in any position. Louis is strongly non religious, admitting to never having been much of a believer and instead puts his faith in his family and the group-members around him. He also appears to view religion and beliefs in God as an interference and waste of time.
Character Motivations
Louis wants to protect who and what he can, no matter the cost.
Louis wants to preserve who he is through each and every hardship. Thanks Dad.
Louis wants to eventually work on his retirement in a decade, if this virus stuff blows over. Perhaps open his own free-lance Carpentry business.
Physical Appearance
To keep it simple, Luis stands at around 6 foot and is set at about 176 lbs. He sports a darker colored hair and stubble to match. His eyes are a grayish-blue. He is slightly above average with body build. When off duty, he usually is spotted with a plain button up shirt with dark blue jeans and ranch boots.

Biography
Louis Anthony King was born on May 3rd of 1972 to Anthony Kain King and his wife, Lilith Anne King. Louis had no other siblings, however he was fortunate enough to have a rather extended family of cousins that he would consider them, "Good enough to be his brothers and sisters." However, with all the support in growing up throughout his younger years, his Father was his most important role model.
Louis's Father was a Vietnam war veteran with a single purple heart and an Honorary Discharge. The affects of the war thankfully didn't impact his father too much, however, Louis did notice them from time to time, recognizing that it could have been far far worse than it was. Anyways, Anthony would go to teach Louis everything he knew about guns, hunting, some carpentry (as his Father was a carpenter) and many more things to shape him into the man he is today.
Unfortunately, Louis's Father could not make it to his High School graduation and passed away due to natural causes shortly before in April of 1990. This had greatly affected Louis, making him more emotional in life and a lot more protective of the ones he loved. He knew it was natural and even he would say peaceful, however, Louis hated the circumstances as one would. So, with his Father's death and graduation, Louis decided to begin his journey of becoming a United States Marine in a direct salute to his Father.
Things wouldn't go very smoothy for Louis as he retracted his decision to enlist as his mother begged him to stay home. This opened up a door for Louis because on his way back, he saw a police officer giving out stickers to the elementary as the day ended in some sort of charity event for the school. Most likely for the parents picking their kids up.
This settled Louis's decision and he used the next few years to train for Police Academy. By age 22, Louis was employed at the WPPD as an Officer. Over the next 19 years, Louis never married and he eventually rose up to the rank of Police Captain. His name was thrown into the pot for Chief, however, Louis denied it. He thought he was much better at being out and about, directly supporting the community of West Point as it was his home town. Of course, paperwork followed him either home or late at night in the office but that wasn't bad in the slightest to Louis.
Flash forward (before I fill this fucking page with pointless information lmfao) to roughly the start of the outbreak. As the nation began to recognize this outbreak snd even panic, Louis was sent to Muldraugh to help the department out down there. Since there was more population, and Louis held most of the WPPD's experience, The Chief made the call to send him down there. They 'had it handled.' So, with a bit of hesitation, Louis began moving down south to help. Unfortunately, he wasn't authorized to use one of the cruisers. Louis took his personal car, which happened to break down half way down. Louis got his tools out and opened the hood, now turning his radio up enough to hear as he worked.
From there, he heard the seriousness of this situation and the grave reality that his help might not mean anything to protect anyone in Muld. Wondering what to do, Louis sat in his car and closed the doors. All he did for the night was listen to his radio until sometime in the morning when it was announced there was some sort of military pick up zone forming. Louis stepped outside of his car and grabbed his things, now walking towards Muldraugh on foot.
Would you like your character to start with any items?
Standard Issue Police garb, basic tool-kit and I would like a locket/dog tags (I think it's base game). Also perhaps one or two skills in Carpentry. I'm fine with either.
