Personality
Isabella has always been a bit of a shy girl, and becoming an adult didn't do much to change that. Most of her friends were made through other friends, always bringing her into the fold later on. Thankfully once she gets to know someone Isabella tends to open up more and be more outgoing within that group of people, but strangers are a challenge for her. Due to her lack of interaction when possible, she is unfortunately a bit gullable and a tad too trusting at times.
Despite being shy, naive, and rarely being the bravest among her group of friends, she did infact have a couple things going for her. She is very observant and quite adept at noticing all those little things that everyone else tends to overlook, for one. She is also quick to recover and react in the face of an emergency - weather that be someone slicing their hand extra deep and needing medical attention or that time her quick thinking saved her and her sister from a cougar while out on a hike.
Character Motivations
The main things that keep Isabella moving in these dark times are the hope that her sister and best friend are both still alive back home in Kansas City, and her love for her profession. Isabella knows its a long shot with whats going on, but if Isabella can survive then why can't those two? As long as she herself is still alive, she can keep telling herself that its possible for them to stay alive too.
As terrible as everything going on is and despite the worry over her sister, a small part of her mind couldn't help pointing out that people with her skills will be sorely needed in the coming days. Engineering is more than just a job to Isabella, it's a passion and a way of life. Despite being 25 her schooling still continues as she repeatedly changes her major, much to the chagrin of her parents footing the bill, to various type of engineering professions and related skills. Her desire he know how everything around her functions prevents her from being satisfied with a single branch of engineering, and as a result she knows a lot of the basic to intermediary information about a wide range of engineering related skills.
Physical Appearance
5'4" in height, light brown hair just a bit past her shoulders - long enough for a small ponytail without the bangs going everywhere constantly. Her hair has a lot of volume and fluff to it when not brushed back. White with a light tan but more white than tanned, bit of a rounder face than normal giving her sort of a girl next door vibe - pretty but not like model pretty, more described as cute. Hazel eyes - just by looking at her eyes you can tell she is always a bit nervous/scared but still paying attention to everything around her.

Biography
Isabella Arrav is a young woman born and raised in Kansas City. She grew up in an average middle class household with a sister, Kaitlyn, and loving parents. She went to public school until graduation, but had trouble making friends until middle school due to her shy personality. She wasn't too bothered by that fact though, as she ended up spending most of her free time figuring out how things worked. Taking things apart around the house whenever her parents werent looking was especially productive in this sense - if not very healthy for her parents wallets when she failed to put it back together correctly.
Her friend problems finally came to an end at the beginning of middle school when Kaitlyn introduced her to a girl she thought would get along with her well - Megan. It didn't take long at all for Isabella and Megan to quickly become besties for life, with their friendship lasting through middle school, the troubled years of high school, and even their early adult life. The two took on high school like champions and managed to make it through with a healthy friend group as well as above average grades in most subjects. Not art though. Never art.
Isabella's drive to find out how things worked never left her though, and wasn't just a "phase" like her parents at first thought. No, if anything, it only grew with her knowledge, and pushed her to excel in subjects like science and physics. Eventually this led her to deciding to pursue an engineering degree for which she managed to earn a scholarship for with her grades. The only catch is that it wasn't for any sort of local college, but all the way in Lousville! Leaving Megan and Kaitlyn to go off on her own was easily the most nerve wracking experience in her life so far, but her dreams required it, and so she went.
Eventually Lousville began to seem like home after a few years, and she again made friends. Isabella had quite the trouble picking exactly what she wanted to do for her major, and kept changing it around between different engineering related fields over time. Thankfully her parents had the money to support her choices after the scholarship funds ran dry. At her current point in life she is still a full time student while working part time as an electrical apprentice. Some friends told her about a cute restaurant over in Muldraugh and with everyone else busy except for her, she decided to head over one day to check it out. Unfortunately she wasn't expecting to get stuck there in a hotel while everything got locked down and the world fell apart around her.
Would you like your character to start with any items?
Maybe an empty/full water/soda bottle and a bag of chips? She was stuck at the local hotel for a bit and didnt plan to be there, so doesn't have anything on her. Notebook and pen/pencil? Sketching ideas out makes sense for her.
