Character Name
Kelly Rabitowitz
I Agree
Yes
Has this character appeared in a previous lore?
No
Age
34
Blood Type
A Positive
Personality
Kelly's relatively optimistic about most things; her father taught her to try and see the silver lining in every situation, no matter how bad. As such, she generally tries to remain chipper whenever something concerning or worrying occurs around her. Even so, at times she may let her go into fits of anxiety, panic and worry.
Character Motivations
One of her primary concerns at the start of the outbreak is getting home to her daughter and making sure she's okay. She is under the impression that this whole thing will blow over and that the government, military, and law enforcement will ultimately have everything under control. It's just another bout of swine flu, nothing to worry about.
Physical Appearance
Kelly is a full figured, somewhat plump caucasian female with blond hair and blue eyes. She stands at 5'2" and weighs around 179 lbs. Her hair curls and falls to her neck and shoulders. Her face is overall relatively squarish, with a somewhat weasily smile. She doesn't mean wrong by it though. Her body language instead shows herself as someone relatively casual. She typically wears a light sweater or a blouse and a cardigan, along with a pair of jeans or slacks.

Biography
Kelly was born on July 24th, 1979 to Matthew and Miriam Parker in Fayetteville, West Virginia. A local engineer, her father did reasonably well for them to live a mostly comfortable lower middle class life. Kelly enjoyed how slow life could be in small town West Virginia, and enjoyed walking along the railroad tracks with her friends and lazily lay in the flower fields near the old schoolhouse.
After graduating high school, Kelly went on to attend the University of Louisville and studied biology. It was here that she met her future husband, Charles Rabitowitz. They began dating in the middle of her sophomore semester. Unfortunately for her, she later found out she was pregnant. Though she tried, she knew that she couldn't manage both her studies and a potential child. With Charles' support at her side, she reluctantly dropped out of college. The two would marry in the summer of 1999 and move into a small home in the town of Muldraugh, not far from Louisville. In February 2000, her daughter, Sydney, was born at Norton Hospital.
Friends with some of the faculty, Kelly was able to secure work at the William F. Ekstrom Library. It was here that she would stay for the following years. After her husband graduated, he went into work as a construction materials contractor and formed RLM Construction Chemicals and Products in 2004. It did well for a first few years, but when the recession rolled around in 2008, the company flopped and declared bankruptcy. Though she retained her job, her husband struggled for a year and a half to find one before taking a lower management opportunity at DEWALT.
Kelly continued as one of the university's libraries, continuing to build friendships with her coworkers, professors, and some of the students as well.
