Ava is a complete coward with little to no faith in combating the ever looming notions of her own inevitable death. Whether these be the standard conditions of the end of the world or the shambling corpses, or an amalgamation of the two, she cannot to fight to save her life in more the ways than one. Inadvertently however, such a fear of death has also led her to be extremely resourceful, as she'll weigh just about any other option than approaching danger head-on. That being said, the option of "sneaking by the zombies" is a pretty reoccurring theme with this woman. Ava is as quiet as mouse, very rarely instigating conversations of her own volition. This isn't to say she's shy, in fact when it comes to people and not their undead counterparts she can be quite forward. She clears her throat far too much and suffers from hypnophobia.
Character Motivations
Like anyone else, staying alive is pretty high on the list, next to having decent food and shelter. Besides simply surviving, her only real saving grace is in taking pictures with her camera. Despite how horrid the world is, she firmly believes that their can still be some pretty sights in it, and what better time is there to take pictures when there's no one else alive to ask permission from? It is through the lenses of her Canon branded camera that she escapes the hell-scape she lives in, if only for a few brief moments.
Physical Appearance
Swedish accent, even facial features, brown eyes, looks to be some where between 5'5 and 5'6. What once might have been considered an average, or possibly even pretty facial complexion is adorned by heavy stress marks and weighted eyes. She looks some what malnourished.

Biography
Upon her earliest memory, Ava Wakefield longed to be an artist, but was simply born without the desired talent and drive to persist on such a subject. School had always posed an issue, getting in the way of this hobby on numerous occasions, the distaste for writing tedious essays and then having to work at something, even if it was something she wanted, was too much to bear. Even with seasonal breaks, attending various art classes and watching a plethora of Youtube tutorials never seemed to bestow these desired expertise.
Around the time she got to college she would finally develop a new artistic interest, one that hinged less on the use of paint brushes and pencils, and more on photo taking. No need for finding a reference nor having an original thought in her brain, she could now with a nice position and the click of a button, form a piece of the most natural art the world had to offer.
Wanting to put a few miles on her soul, she'd eventually become a freelance photographer. Weddings, peaks, valleys, sunsets, and no filters required, she'd roam the world, traveling when money allowed for it. It was a dream job, an ideal one that allowed her to meet new people and avoid the horrid, mind-numbing cubicle of an office. Or rather, this is what she could have been, had the world not fallen into shambles.
Freelancer indeed, but only between magazines and newspapers, her dreams were eviscerated long before her ideal life would have been attainable. Any thought of what the future could have been was shattered with the horrific reality of the dead rising, an unsettling desire to consume the living present in their lifeless eyes. If the stress of her new-found situation didn't kill her, something else certainly would.
