Personality
Elijah is an intelligent young man with a heart seemingly made of gold. He is always willing to lend a helping hand no matter what danger it presented. He believes in being the "best good" because the world he's come to know lacks those sets of values - at least according to his father. He strives to be a good man in a store and to change the people around him one person at a time. Since the death of his family, he has tried to keep a brave face despite his desire to shut off and push the world away.
Character Motivations
Unlike how most people would, Eli doesn't want to seek revenge on the people who took away his family. His only real goal is to live long enough to find a new place to call home now that his is gone. Maybe a friend or two along the way wouldn't be so bad either.
Physical Appearance
Mr. Hunt stands at a staggering 5'8" and weighs in at a whopping 140lbs. He has a messy mop of dark brown hair on his head with the same color eyes to match. He typically sports teeshirts, blue jeans, and the occasional plaid button-up. In the wintertime, he wears his father's old coat to keep him warm though it's much bigger on him.

Biography
On August 9th, 2012, Elijah Ryan Hunt was born in Norton, Virginia. He was welcomed into the world by two loving parents by the names of Amanda and John. Amanda worked as a high school teacher and John was an officer for the local police department. Life seemed like a fairy tale for the new family - ready to face every battle as a team.
Who would have known in four short years their lives would be completely torn apart?
As the world delved into chaos, John did everything he could to keep his family safe. Even if that meant taken the lives of those around him. Amanda held her son tight with full intention to shield him from the chaos. Their pickup truck held their entire lives in its bed and their future in its engine.
The road to the Hunt’s cabin was long and jagged - filled with enemies at every turn.
The cabin was far off the beaten path, hidden by dense woods and greenery. It was the perfect location to lay low or even create an entirely new life. And that’s exactly what the Hunt family did. John spent dawn to dusk building defenses around the home to keep the family he had inside protected. Amanda did what she could to start a small farm to sustain them while John hunted for animals.
Over the next twelve years, Amanda raised their son to the best of her ability. She taught him how to read and write along with the importance of time. According to her, it was good to keep track because you never know when it may run out. She kept him entertained with stories of the old world. John, however, believed his son needed to know the rules of survival more than waste his time with silly books.
Elijah learned how to be an everyday survivor in the wasteland thanks to his parent’s help. Though, nothing taught would prepare him for the monsters lying in wait.
John knew that their isolation alone wouldn’t be enough to continue to live off of, so he sought out work until he eventually came across the Coalition. In John’s words, it stood for everything he as a man believed in. It was his hope for a familiar world.
Elijah knew how dangerous his father’s job was and what it could mean for his family. The Hunt’s put extra protection on their defenses - including a new lock on the gate.
The older Elijah got the more John began to loosen the tight leash he had on his son. It wasn’t long until he was going on supply runs alone but with supplies dwindling, the teen seemed to have to travel farther and farther out.
In the early days of September, John and Amanda sat comfortably in their living room awaiting their sons return home. The front door swung open but the person who stepped in wasn’t the man they’d come to raise. Everything happened so quickly that they weren’t able to run, much less get up from the couch. Amanda suffered a single gunshot wound to the brain while John was shot twice in the stomach.
When Elijah returned, he was greeted by a woman he’d come to know as Lynch. She was a close associate of his father’s and had become a family friend over the years. The look she wore was all he needed to know to confirm what he already feared when he found the open gate. The guilt began to eat at every part of him. He’d locked it a thousand times. What was one more? How could he have forgotten?
Lynch’s plan fell on deaf ears as he mindlessly walked to her vehicle. His eyes locked on the rearview mirror as his life left his view. Everything destroyed over one mistake. His mother was right, you never know when time will run out.
