Character Motivations
To return to the last place she called home and to try and establish something where she can live out the rest of her life in peace.
Physical Appearance
Rebecca stands at roughly 170cm tall and looks to weight anywhere between 80-90kg. She has a somewhat above-average muscular build from years of survival but looks normal otherwise. Her long hair is tied backwards into a tight pony-tail, of which is coloured dark brown and her sky-blue eyes still shine a little. She has a nasty looking scar across her left eye that never healed very well, but luckily had not damaged her eye itself along with another scar around the left side of her abdomen that she received from a bullet wound years ago.
She has a clean, white t-shirt underneath a worn-out black biker jacket, dark-blue jeans, and brown cargo-boots that are laced almost perfectly. She has a duel-holster around her waist used to store two of her firearms along with some other equipment and a hiking backpack thrown around her back.

Biography
Not remembering much of her life before the apocalypse, besides that of growing up in Kentucky and losing her parents in the first few days of the apocalypse, all that Rebecca can remember is her life after society collapsed. Having spent the first year of the apocalypse in the Valley Station area where she experienced a lot of trauma that shaped and changed her for the rest of her life. The death of Chelsea Barnes hit her the hardest in this time, after the cynical and fanatical faction of religious nutcases killed her.
After a huge war between the survivors of The Mall and the religious nut jobs, Rebecca eventually ended up leaving the region along with most of the other survivors, but not without being near-fatally wounded by a gunshot to her gut. After successfully being stabilized by Amy Carter, an ex-army surgeon, Rebecca ended up splitting off from the main group with a few others including Amy after they managed to get a safe distance away. Over the next several years Rebecca spent her time more or less moving around from state-to-state, scavenging what remained of the now crumbling world while also honing her own survival skills. It was an extremely difficult time and in many cases she almost gave up. Eventually she also split from the rest of the survivors she escaped with after they decided to head further south, a decision she deemed to be pointless.
She continued to spend time moving around over the next 2 years until she eventually made her way further east towards the coast, eventually entering the state of Maryland and the capital of the old world, Washington DC. It was hear that she spent another year moping around in the shadows and simply surviving before she eventually decided to do something with her life instead of spending it hiding in the shadows and joined up with one of the several settlements that had been established within the city. It was here that she spent the next 3 years living, training under a somewhat very militaristic society that desperately needed soldiers to protect its people. Bandit and rival faction or settlement attacks were rare, but when they did happen they were brutal and never ended without bloodshed on both sides. It was in her third year where a coalition of settlements had rallied together to attack the one Rebecca resided in, jealous or desperate of their wealth of resources, or so she was told. The battle itself lasted days, but nonetheless, the defenders were eventually overwhelmed and the leader of the settlement declared a state of total-war, arming everyone in the hopeless defense of what remained of their settlement.
Not wanting to throw her life away in something she now realized was hopeless, Rebecca grabbed what she could and, during one of the nights while battles raged on within the settlements inner walls, snuck past the sieging troops and headed norther, towards New York. Over the next 2 months she bounced from town to town, staying well clear of any settlements she found while also looting what she could to survive. Eventually she arrived in the state of New York, stopping inside of Monroe County.
