≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪
We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?
After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.
This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.
Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.
PERSONALITY
Enzo is a prideful stuck in his ways geezer who looks down on those with weak wills. He is also very stubborn, to the point of plain ignorance at times. Due to being partially deaf, he often speaks very loudly, but it wouldn't be hard to imagine him yelling even without the handicap.
APPEARANCE
Enzo stands at 5"7, And is slightly hunched over, which you assume can attest to the state of his spine. He has wrinkly suntanned skin and is often found with soot on him, and calloused hands. He is almost completely bald with a receding white hairline. Despite his stature, his evil eye is next to none.
HISTORY
Enzo came to Monroe 2 years ago looking like a dead fish. After a couple of months, he eventually settled in as a resident blacksmith and regained his spirit, but he has yet to speak of his recent past. However, he has alot to say about his life a dozen years prior, taking pride in his heritage of a long line of craftsmen.
