Personality
Noelle is a gentle soul with a knack for leadership. Though she may snap with a witty comeback, she always puts those around her as her first priority. Especially when it comes to her father and sister. She loves to make people laugh and can brighten a room with her lighthearted ways but don’t let this motherly demeanor fool you. Noelle is just as capable of being serious and to the point when the time calls for it.
Character Motivations
Noelle lives to become the woman she believes her mother would want her to be as well as trying to avenge the death of her boyfriend by being the greatest good. She wants to make her family, and the CPF proud of her and show that the Lange family is more than just a household name.
Physical Appearance
Noelle is a tall and slender woman standing at roughly 5’7” and weighing about 150lbs. She has short black hair that comes just above her shoulders and deep brown eyes. Noelle is also of white and asian descent. She has a tattoo that runs down her spine of the different phases of the moon.

Biography
Born around midnight on October 31st, Noelle and Brandon Lange were born. The twins were only 5 minutes apart with Noelle entering the world first. Their mother, Yen-Khae, was a single mother who was ill-prepared but ready to take on the challenge of motherhood. Raising twins was incredibly hard in itself. Not to mention doing it alone.
For the first six years, the family struggled to make ends meet. Yen worked as many jobs as she could to support herself and her children. They didn’t have much but her mother always made it work. It was around this time that Yen met the love of her life and the man who Noelle would come to call her father, Jeremy Lange.
Her mother and stepfather provided a wonderful life for Noelle and her brother, giving them everything they could have asked for - even a new sibling. Her younger sister Alyssa may have been fourteen years younger but Noelle couldn’t have been closer to her. The two were practically conjoined at the hip. Noelle’s father attributes Alyssa’s survival to her older sister’s protectiveness when the world fell apart only two short years later.
What started as a vacation to see her grandparents in Michigan turned into a road trip from hell in only eight hours. The news of mass cannibalism spread quickly and caused the streets to flood with panic civilians. Over 500 miles from her mother and twin brother, Noelle had no choice but to put on a strong face for the family she had in front of her - Jeremy and Alyssa.
Jeremy knew he’d do anything to keep his daughters safe, even if that meant taking the life of another human being. The three pressed on for as long as they could while doing everything they could to survive. Roads quickly filled with bodies and abandoned cars, eventually forcing them from their vehicle. With no map and no sense of direction, the family pressed on. It took over a year and a half of fighting, starving and exhaustion until they came across a small group that took them in.
This group would later be known as The Coalition.
The Lange family helped build the CPF, and more namely Pittsford, from the ground up over the last decade or so. Jeremy found a seat as one of the cities’ politicians while Noelle took more of an interest in training to become a ranger to further spread the ideas that her father and newfound family believed in. Due to Jeremy’s position, they were never able to return to their hometown of Louisville to look for Yen and Brandon. The family decided to mourn them silently and hoped that they understood the dangers of returning wherever they were.
At the age of 25, Noelle found love. It burned fast and hot, but all fires go out eventually. Noelle and Jackson were both placed on a mission to hunt a man who had been suspected of smuggling drugs. Naively, she believed that Jackson would be able to handle it on his own. It wasn’t until the third day without word that she understood the mistake she had made. It took just over a week to find and recover Jackson’s body, and only a minute for the guilt to set in. The violence inflicted on someone she held so dearly was something she’d never witnessed.
Since his death, Noelle has poured her time into seeking out those who go against the very things the CPF stands for as a way to honor not only her lost lover but the things she believes her mother would be proud of.
