Personality
A stern and decisive man, who enjoys building small devices followed by testing them. He has honest goals to protect the people of Monroe, sincerely wants the town to thrive. However, there is a seed of despair buried deep in his mind just waiting to blossom. These people are alive, but.. they're just more bodies for the red eyes to add to their ranks. Charles constantly shakes away these horrid thoughts, waking in his sleep from night terrors and constantly trying to keep hold of his sanity. But every dam has it's limits. . .
Character Motivations
Charles is driven by a sense of purpose to protect those from the infected, but behind that is a deep fear for the infected. He thinks he can protect them, at least for now. . .
Physical Appearance
Charles is Caucasian man that carries himself firmly, with a perpetual glower present at all times. A lean built body. He is wearing a patchy wool beanie to cover his dome, having a security colored neck scarf and armband to match. Attire usually consists of a one piece suit with either a shirt of sweater underneath depending on the weather. Rarely ever seen off duty in casual clothing.

Biography
Charles Gideon, born and raised in San Diego, California. Life was of the norm until he got a unique career opportunity. Just before the world had gone to shit he worked as a Demolitionist for the television show "Demo Vs. Constructionist." A show that tested the integrity of various objects and structures against destructive forces. And you know when the world decided to kneel before the pandemic, he clinged onto the hope that this will be over soon. Years of surviving have harden Charles, making him physically sturdy yet it has damaged his mental well being severely. Although he doesn't admit it to himself, Charles suffers from night terrors of the infected, the sickness spreading death and decay, bloating the hosts disfigured body. He believes he is still in control and can stop it. When he had come to Monroe's during it's infancy, he'd served under the 1st head of security, the structure helped keep him together.
When the second head perished, Charles gained his mantle. It's been a couple years since then, and the town has grown much. He will protect the people of Monroe, yet a looming darkness continues to fester in the back of Charles's Mind.
