A shut-in for most of his life, Joe looked outside to see the world falling apart, with little to no skills or knowledge of the real world, and food and supplies running low due to his low-paying job, he set out to try and survive, using what little knowledge he had seen from quirky posts online or on TV, his main goal is simply to connect with others who can teach him more in the ways of survival, or at the very least, he could provide some sort of service as payment, as hopeless as he is, being alive beats being dead any day.
Character Motivations
The main goal is simply to make it to the next day, but Joe knows he can't possibly do it alone, and so he seeks strong people who have made it work in this nightmare, going from place to place learning everything he possibly can, before moving on
Physical Appearance
Slightly overweight due to a sedentary lifestyle, joe's time sitting on front of the screen has really made him out of shape, standing at 6 foot even, and 240 pounds (and it isn't muscle, either)

From the ripe age of 9, all joe could remember was video games, the grind, that quest for just one more level, as he grew up, however, it became a detriment to his ability to function in social environments, or even a decent job, so he settled for a low paying job that required no skill and very little labor, if he could keep the internet on, it would be enough to get him through the day, fast forward 10 years, and not a single thing has changed, save the world coming to an end, now, with no skills, or knowledge of surviving, joe has set out to learn as much as he can so he may live just another day, though being away from the internet has surely had a toll on him, as he's remained socially awkward, and perhaps a bit more anxious as a result
