Personality
Amelia has been traumatized by many events in her life, to the point where she is emotionally numb. She is willing to do whatever it takes to protect herself and those she cares about.
However, the list of those she cares about is short. She doesn't get along with her birth family, and her ex-husband for that matter. However, if someone does gain her trust, she is a loyal friend, however, her job has led her to see the worst in humanity, leading to a pessimistic outlook.
Due to her childhood, Amelia is scared of being seen as weak or being seen as helpless.
Physical Appearance
Amelia has dark brown hair and blue eyes. She is about 5ft 8in and has a athletic build. Her hair is long and reaches down to her shoulders.

Biography
Amelia Rose Bennett was born on March 6th, 1983 in Brooklyn, New York to Harriett Bennett and an unknown father. It was not a secret as a child that she was not wanted, so Amelia tended to spend a lot of her childhood away from home. In this, she discovered mystery novels and eventually decided she wanted to become a detective when she grew up.
Eventually, upon graduating High School, Amelia enrolled in CUNY for a Criminal Justice degree and to eventually enter the NYPD Police Academy. However, after 9/11, Amelia decided she wanted to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
It was also there, Amelia met her future husband, Brad Young, a law student at Columbia University. They eventually married in 2006, after he graduated Law School.
Amelia eventually went into the FBI in 2007, and relocated to Washington, DC, where she was assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division, specifically, the Violent Crime Section of the National Crimes Branch. She bought a house with her husband in Alexandra, however, the weight of her newfound work took its toll on her relationships and her mental health.
As a field agent, Amelia routinely flew out of Washington to take care of various investigations, including Mass Shootings, Hate Crimes and Brutal Murder. Eventually, she grew colder to scenes of violent tragedy, used to them. She however, was an excellent investigator and worked to solve several crimes around the country.
However, at home, Amelia and Brad eventually tried and failed to conceive a child, which was the straw that broke the camels back of their relationship. In 2017, Amelia and Brad divorced, and Amelia kept the house in exchange for alimony payments.
Amelia continued her work up until early May 2019, where she flew to San Antonio to assist the FBI field office to assist in an investigation of a triple homicide Jubilee, Texas. Little did she know, that nothing she has seen up until this point could prepare her for what was going to happen next...
