Her argumentativeness nature sours the mood many a time and could ruin plenty of evenings. Fortunately, her grace helps make sure these days are few and far between.
Many consider her to be quite uptight - and if one searches deeper they'll find the deep-rooted insecurities about her achievements. She routinely doubts herself, but tries her best to help others from afar.
Later:
After 12ish years of surviving, shes considerably more cautious - implementing a series of rules to ensure her survival in the horrific wastelands. She helps others for a price, typically for food or a place to stay.

Character Motivations
Yarah wishes to help others, even at the sacrifice of herself - this typically spills into her work where she'll devout hours in order to get ahead of the curb. She is an ambitious, and is driven to do better in order to beat those around her. Yarah wishes to eventually practice Emergency Medicine - specializing as a Trauma Physician.
Later:
She just wishes to survive another day - twelve long years have given her a dull outlook on life, only wishing to survive another day.
Physical Appearance
Feminine in appearance, standing at roughly 5' 9''. Yarah has an olive skin tone, similar to that found in the middle-east. She has a small bulbous nose, as well as thin lips. Her hair is left its natural colour - a very dark brown.
Later:
She has developed crows feet, and frown lines - showing her increased age. Her hair has a few strands of grey, however, it is not as noticeable.

Biography
Introduced to the world, in a small town within the state of Pennsylvania, on March 13th 1987, a Friday. Yarah's birth was not ominous, nor was it any different to the ones that occurred a day before and ones that would occur a day after. It was just a normal day. She was a part of a second-generation immigrant family - hailing from Yemen. Her grandparents escaped the Civil War through seeking asylum in the United States of America
Her life would go on, relatively normal, until the age of sixteen. Yarah and her parents were en route to a vacation within Turkey - before Turkish Airlines Flight 634 crashed. Herself and her mother survived the crash, with Yarah walking away with only two major injuries. The next few years of her life is dedicated to recovering but also to continue her education. Yarah finishes her High School career at 19 years old, in June of 2006.
She goes on to be accepted for her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She completes the internship, and moves to Louisville Kentucky after being accepted for her residency. She remains here for the next few years of her life, and this is where she learns of the virus.
Later:
During the initial evacuation, she remained behind working on her patients - eventually the Hospital she worked at being overrun by those infected. She fled north, sticking to isolated communities - eventually finding her way in the apocalypse as a Doctor. She travelled widely across the States, eventually returning to Kentucky.
