Personality
He's crude and insensitive. To make things worse he's also vindictive, intolerant and demanding, but at least those are kept somewhat in check by habits of being lovable as well.
But focus on his as this is what he's purposely avoided. Even careful encounters have been ruined because of this and his sadistic ways, which is far from desired, but so be it.
Fair is fair though, Marcus does have some redeeming qualities. He's adaptable and helpful in good amounts, it could be worth to take a chance just once.
Unfortunately his insensitivity will forever be something to deal with.
Character Motivations
Before the fall of society, Marcus' motivations would be generic - like most other Americans. A white picket fence, with a nuclear family. That all changed very quickly the minute the virus hit. Marcus went into survival mode, using his Mechanical Engineering degree to propel himself forward in the Apocalypse. He developed all sorts of systems to ensure he survived, modifying devices to keep himself safe - even tricking-out various vehicles across the years.
Physical Appearance
He has a round face with a softly shaped jaw, a large nose, small ears, puffy cheeks and thin lips. His dark brown eyes are small, and he has tapered eyebrows.
He has short, curly, black hair, and he has a goatee.

Biography
October 1st 1986 - The day Marcus was born, the result of a one night stand almost a year earlier. Marcus never did know his Father, and some might say it hindered his development but ultimately he powered through his childhood - soaring above his peers in terms of grades, thankfully allowing him a Scholarship when he finally attended the University of Kentucky College of Engineering.
His relationship with his mother was always a top priority - thankfully, she passed prior to the Virus hitting the United States. Marcus doesn't recall much of the beginning of the Virus, like a way of suppressing his memories due to some questionable circumstances. Marcus remained a lone wolf for almost a decade, keeping his distance from people by sticking it out in the woods of Kentucky, only recently appearing to sell various contraptions and surplus of his game meat.
