Ovid Krones is a wandering survivor he doesn't mind teaming up with survivors as long as it forwards his agenda. Ovid Krones is a thinker more than a speaker. He thinks of what he says and does very carefully. Ovid seems to have lost his sense of humor since the apocalypse and can rarely be seen caring for anyone, He is sarcastic and rude, but when he finds someone to care for it is not thrown away easily.

Character Motivations
He wants to be stable and free of his past to make himself new. Ovid wants to be stable, he doesn't want to have to worry anymore. He wants to escape his past and find a sense of community.

Physical Appearance
Ovid is 5'11 and sun tanned. He has a shaved head with a salt and pepper beard. He is missing his right eye with a large burn across the right side of his head. He is well built for an older man and across his chest and back he has many scars that look like scratches.

Biography
Ovid Krones had been on a vacation from his job as a carpenter. This being a rare occasion took his family with him to see New York city. The trip had been going well until the news channels had talked about sighting of sick individuals roaming the country. Ovid though nothing of this and tried to focus on his trip. At the end of his vacation he tried to drive his family back to Tennessee but the roads where so backed up he couldn't even get 10 miles out of New York. Where could he go? The airports where shutdown and the news stations went quiet. Ovid was homeless for something he had no idea was going on. When the food started running out the riots happened. They burned everything including his car his family had been living in. "It wasn't fair he thought. What is happening and why can't i go home?" He and his family had been living on the streets for 3 months and then they finally came. What could he even describe them as? Shambling people hungry for forbidden flesh. 3 years, 3 years is how long he could protect his wife Julia and his son parker. His selfishness caused him to let them die. Torn apart my the devil himself. Through the past twelve years he has wandered through communities in New York, like a ghost watching them be overrun inevitably. Oivd could usually help settlements by building places people could feel safe and that's all he wants. He wants to feel safe, he wants to be at peace with himself.

Before we can go any further, I need to address the most glaring issue: You haven't read the lore. At least, there are no direct references to it in Ovid's biography. Please work off of what you have currently and give a brief summary of how Ovid has fared for the past 12 years and how he ended up in New York. You can read the lore here.

Additionally, his age doesn't match up with the lore. Specifically, you say he's worked as a park ranger for most of his life. He would have been 22 or 23 at the start of the apocalypse. Please either adjust your backstory or Ovid's age to work with the lore.
