Personality
Colin can be considered a "ray of sunshine in a pile of shit" despite the apocalypse he has kept his witty attitude intact and can often be seen making light of most things, this witty attitude had been amplified following the apocalypse. Others outside the circle of people he either talks to or trusts could see this as naivety but those who can be considered close to him would know this is a coping mechanism to help him deal with the world he was forced to adapt to just as everyone else.
Character Motivations
Saving Lives. If there's anything Colin believes in it's humanity, despite the world being flipped upside down he believes that humanity can still dig themselves out of the rubble and believing that he wants to contribute to humanity as best as he could.
Physical Appearance
A middle-aged male who stands at an average height of 5'8 with light brown hair and hazel eyes and a beard that looks slightly unkempt, he is physically fit and weights average for his height. He appears to have several scars riddled around his body, a stab wound to his lower abdomen which seemed to have been stitched. A cut just above his eyebrow from blunt force trauma and a gunshot wound on his lower calf, no exit wound.

Biography
Colin O'Duggan hails from a Irish-American family residing in Chicago that came to the United States of America in the late 1800s primarily to work as laborers, this eventually became a tradition within his family and most of the males were dominantly laborers. During his childhood he would often go out with his father and assist him in labor work such as technician work or field work anything to make ends meet it would make sense for Colin to pursuit a career in that line of work however the medical field called to him he had always loved helping others and this was the perfect work for him and to further solidify it he was somewhat talented in it.
During his college years he went to a medical school in Upstate New York where he further his medical practices however it was cut short due to the apocalypse. During the next couple of years he found himself traveling from place to place, helping others as best he could all the while improving his medical expertise before moving on to the next place before ultimately finding himself in Monroe County and despite moving on there was something keeping him there, as if there were unfinished business.
As Colin entered the county filled with division he was reminded of how his family came to the United States as immigrants, entering a new place changed by the world now he was in their same shoes almost as if history was repeating itself.
