Character Name
Wolfsbane

Has this character appeared in a previous lore?

Age

Blood Type

Personality
Wolfsbane is a callous man. He has always been more of a loner. A lone wolf, you could say. He has difficulties working with others and prefers to work alone when he has the option. Some may say he's a bit unhinged. Others may say he's just apprehensive. Whatever the case is, he prefers to keep to himself. He is dedicated to his work and will put hours into completing a single project. He can be civil and courteous when the need arises, but more often than not he isn't the most pleasant to be around.
Character Motivations
Wolfsbane's main motivation is his own survival. He's out for himself, even if it endangers his group. His morals may be a bit skewed after all this time, but he doesn't even seem to realize it.
Physical Appearance
Wolfsbane is on the shorter side, standing at a height of 5'6''. He has short, scruffy brown hair, thick eyebrows, and piercing brown eyes. He is almost always sporting a stubbly moustache and beard. It never seems to get much longer than that. In terms of stature, he isn't exactly what you would call lean. He's fairly thin. He manages to do what he needs to do despite his constraints, however.
He appears younger than a man his age typically would due to not having had access to testosterone injections for an extended period of time.
[ If Brighton is able to produce testosterone with all of their Fancy Industrialized Stuff, then he'd be back on T. He'd still look younger regardless, though. ]

Biography
Theodore Wellesley was born in Yorkshire, England on April 19, 1996. He moved to Louisville, Kentucky with his family at the age of three. Having left England at such a young age, he retains little memory of Yorkshire. He had a fairly typical childhood—always raving over the newest video games, excelling in school, spending time with friends. He was a generally cheerful kid.
From a very young age, Theo knew that he was a boy. No one questioned it, not even his parents. They supported him in being happy and allowed him to present however he felt most comfortable. It’s the love and support he was given by his family that allowed Theo to grow up happily embracing himself.
At the age of fifteen, Theo began taking testosterone. And at the age of sixteen, he had top surgery and legally changed his name. Theo had never exactly been public about being trans, and so to others, it just looked as if he was starting puberty a bit late. He never saw any need to be open about it. That would attract more speculation than anything else. He was happy just living his life in a way that made him feel comfortable in his own skin, without others constantly questioning him about it.
As he grew older, Theo began to discover his passion. He would go out and buy cheap, beaten up electronics from thrift stores and eBay and work on repairing them himself. His friends would even come to him with their broken game consoles, asking him to take a look at them to see if he could fix them. It was a fun pastime for him, although he never saw it as more than a hobby until it came time to start looking into colleges. He knew that if he was going to be studying something he was most likely going to be doing for the rest of his life, it may as well be something he enjoyed. And so, he applied to Georgia Tech early action as an electrical engineering major. He received word back in December of his senior year that he had been accepted!
Sadly, he’d never get to attend college. Barely into his final semester of high school, news of the Red Eye virus came out. Things fell quickly. Before he knew it, his parents were dead and he was left to fend for himself. There were times where he attempted to keep to a group, but it never worked out. Everyone either died or separated from each other. He kept himself alive by scavenging, keeping to rundown cars or abandoned buildings, and learning to defend himself.
One day, a few months in, he came across a group led by a woman named Yen-Khae Lange. Although apprehensive about being near people again at first, Theo eventually joined her. He later found a girl, Ryan Parker, scavenging in the woods near their house. The two never got along initially, but Yen took her in nonetheless. They called themselves The United Nations, as each member was a different nationality.
Over the course of the first year, Theo had moved on from modding video game consoles to creating explosives. It was more so due to the lack of viable consoles and a reliable source of power than anything else, but it just made sense to him. He took over a room in the house, dubbing it his office, and filled it to the brim with various electronic scraps and other materials. He had started with just building radios. Shoddy HAM radios cobbled together with leftover scraps of woods and electronic innards. Later, however, he switched over to crafting explosives. His specialty was pipe bombs, though he would create the occasional smoke bomb or flame trap as well. He was fascinated by how they worked, how much power was behind such a small device.
Theo and Yen had a tense relationship. He hated being told what to do, being constrained by authority. They would constantly get into fights, ending in Theo either locking himself in his room or running away from the house. Ryan would constantly pester him, looking to pick fights, and of course, Theo would be provoked. She would pin the fault on him, and Yen believed it, leading to even more tension in the household.
Nevertheless, they eventually fell into a routine and began acting more and more like a family. Ryan and Theo even made up, and their friendship quickly turned into a budding relationship. Having someone who genuinely loved him romantically and validated his identity as a man, especially after his supply of testosterone had run out and he was wracked by dysphoria, was something Theo had never known he wanted, or needed, before then.
Of course, all good things eventually come to an end. Clint Buchanan and Killian O’Rourke got into a fight over Yen, ending in both of their deaths. The loss of stability in their group shook Theo, causing him to act out far more often. After a large fight with Yen, he and Ryan packed their bags and left with the van. By the time they came back to check on things, Yen was gone. Theo never saw her again.
His personality always seemed to be his downfall. After a few months of traveling alone together, driving up the eastern seaboard, Ryan and Theo got into a terrible fight. It ended with Theo walking out on her in a fit of rage. He felt too much guilt to go back and reunite with her. And so, he was alone. Again.
Despite having been alone for so long before, the sudden lack of company was a difficult adjustment for Theo. He purposefully kept to himself, avoiding large groups and camping out in the burnt-out husks of cars which he had fixed up himself. He eventually made it up to Monroe County, New York. With too much time and too little to do, Theo spent more and more time crafting explosives. He had accumulated quite the cache by the time three years had already passed.
At some point along the way, Theo was reached out to by a group for his aptitude in engineering: Brighton. He had never heard of them. Maybe a rumor here or there, but nothing concrete. Although initially hesitant, he was given the chance to work with what he enjoyed and actually make a living out of it. Thus, he agreed.
Over the next eight or so years, Theo worked closely with the people of Brighton as an electrical engineer. He specializes in bombs and other explosives. He took on the alias Wolfsbane—or Wolf, for short—to distance himself from his past. This was his life now. Nothing before then mattered.
[Some points on Brighton may be inaccurate, so I kept it brief for a reason. Even I don't know that much—no more than what's listed in our lore notes. I can edit it accordingly as needed.]

Wolfsbane is an electrical engineer for Brighton. Most notably, he creates bombs for them. It's his specialty. He has been in The Barrens for nearly a decade now after having traveled up and wandered the eastern seaboard from Valley Station with his now-ex-girlfriend back in 2016. Specifically, he's been a member of Brighton for 8 years. (Or less. I don't know when it was formed, but Gummy mentioned it was early on.)
