She is lovable, stubborn, blunt and protective. If you don't piss her off and treat people well she will give you the shirt off her back to help.
She is very protective of children and will be loving towards them, but very firm with discipline.
Character Motivations
After losing her own children Nellie has been living in Fairhaven for the past coulpe years. Instead of ruining her it made her find inner strength. Now she wants to help others and open her own restaraunt.
Physical Appearance
5'4" 220 lbs. She has short cut black hair and a round body. Despite her being very overweight, she is surprisingly mobile in comparison to people with the same body type.

Biography
She was born in rural Alabama in 1980. She faced racism on a consistent basis and turned to the church for help and comfort. She enjoyed singing in the choir and organizing picnics, bake sales, sunday lunches and anything else like that. Cooking for so many people made her decide to become a chef and try to start her own restaruant.
When she got old enough and saved up enough money she opened her own diner which was a huge success. She got married young and had five children by the time she was 30. When the apocalypse hit she lost her husband and two youngest children within days. She fled north with the rest of her children but slowly overtime they died to starvation, cold or gunshot.
After her last child died she moved into Fairhaven and lived in sorrow for 3 years. After time she turned back to her religion that she grew up with for strength and support and was able to come back from the bottom of the barrel. Now she has set out towards Monroe to try and start her diner again and help people along the way.
Would you like your character to start with any items?
The two items would be a frying pan and a rolling pin.
Could I also request recipe books so that she can cook since she is a chef?
