Laura is a kind, caring person who is usually upbeat and enthusiastic. She enjoys making people laugh and smile. Her friends and loved ones mean everything to her. She is loyal, determined, ambitious and trusting. Believing that people are the best resource the planet has to offer. Laura isn't one to kill infected, she has only killed a few in the entire outbreak. Preferring to be a pacifist, she will only kill to protect those she loves. Her moral compass is so high that she would rarely steal or do anything harmful to others even in the worst of situations.
Character Motivations
Laura is motivated by her desire to make other people happy. Mostly her romantic partner, Victoria. Most of her efforts are in keeping her safe, making sure she is well taken care of. She wants to bring music back to the world, and so where ever she goes she plays her songs for others. Trying to lighten the mood. Her end goal in life is to one day find a safe place to raise a family.
Physical Appearance
Laura is skinny, small caucasian girl, sporting dark brown hair that reaches her shoulders. She is usually seen wearing jeans, a variety of different logo t-shirts and most often her camo jacket. Having a weathered Alice pack that she carries with her almost everywhere. Her facial features are pretty soft, but when she gets angry she can actually look pretty scary.

Biography
Laura like everyone else has had a difficult life. Before the outbreak she was just a shy young girl, enjoying her existance as much as possible. Going to school, seeing friends, generally just doing kid things. Then the outbreak happened before she was even 10 years old, and all of a sudden life change pretty drastically. She was an only child, just her and her Father who did his best to take care of her. Taking her out of the doomed city they were in during the start of the red-eye infection. They moved from place to place.
They found a pretty good community that took them in. Her Father was a pretty handy carpenter so he made use of himself, gaining quite a good reputation with the group. It wasn't long before they settled in. It was here that she met her other half. Victoria, a girl just a few years older than her took interest in her right away. Perhaps out of pity, she took the girl under her wing and made sure she was taken care of. Finally having a friend she could count on, Laura became pretty happy within the community despite the horrors she'd seen.
Years later the community fell, as well as Laura's Father. Not having anyone but Victoria really to count on, the two stuck together through thick and thin. Having to endure a lot of hardships, they moved from place to place just doing their best to survive. To take care of each other. Laura grew a passion for music growing up, her Father having taught her guitar. She now carried his old six string with her where ever she goes. Playing songs to try and sooth people, cheer up their day.
The two eventually became a romantic couple eventually. Deciding that they had more feelings for each other than they initially realised. After a long time moving around they have now been in Monroe for a few months. Having hid away for the most part, they do not seem to enjoy much of the recent activities and fear leaving their comfort zones too much. But now they're actively trying to get passed their fears and become a true part of the community.
