≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

Hi Pika! My name is Envy and I will be handing your application today.

Illegalities:
  • You need to read the rules. You can read the rules here.
  • You need to read the lore. You can read the lore here.
  • "420+" is not a valid blood type. Please choose a blood type listed here.
  • Personality needs to be fleshed out.
  • Biography needs to be at least 3 paragraphs
  • Project Zomboid does not have a mining skill.
  • Project Zomboid does not have a "Gamer" Occupation. Please choose something else. This does not affect your IC occupation.

Requirements:
  • As for your occupation, is Sam a Twitch Streamer Gamer? Does she just sit at home playing video games all day? You should flesh this out.
  • "lil dumbass lesbian" is not a valid description of your appearence. Think about things like height, build, eye color, hair color, style ect.

Recommendations:
  • I would improve your grammar under Character Motivations.
  • Mine Diamonds
